Actually there were reports he'd welcome being coached by SVG again. I don't think it's about picking coaches. The Bobcats hired who I believe was the Lakers assistant he was really close to in Orlando.

I agree D-12 is super finicky and high maintenance but most Max Cats are to be honest.

The guy could of got what he wanted and ended up with the Nets had he not opted in. The stupid nets could of still got him had they not made that putrid Gerald Wallace trade

Dude just had another baby with a differnt mother. Thats a personal thing but when you see guys like Lebron and Amare having kids with the same women and eventually marrying them its a nice thing and often a sign of maturity.

We can blast these guys but sometimes they grow up too.

Which leads us back to Dwight and where else can a superficial egocentric attention whore really thrive more than in the city of angels?

I still would like to see MDA's system thrive as its pretty fun to watch. I always enjoyed the Amare/Nash/MDA Suns play and was hoping like a lot of fans it would be constructed in some form in NY!

Why else get Amare? That was then.

I watched nearly every Lakers game last year and I saw D12 flub TONS of passes to him, turn it over bowling over defenders, throw bricks off the glass, and miss tons of FT's. He's just an offense killer for the team he's on. He should've dominated in MDA's PnR offense, but he said he didn't want to set picks in the PnR, but preferred to post low, which is fine, except for how often teams clogged the paint on him and denied entry passes. SVG wanted D12 to focus on D and rebounding and he was right. When he does that he's a dominant player and it helps his teams win. He sulked last year when he didn't get the ball every time and then refused to hustle and that's something SVG was always on him about. Lakers shouldn't beg this clown to stay.
