Looks like Cavs really want Ricky Ledo and there are clubs who look like they apparently want to take him. I think many of the players around thia area are close---24 might help Clev obtain him--would u trade back for 31 and 33?

I would wait and see if someone of value falls, but I am certainly open to that strategy. What the draft lacks in big names it makes up for in quality depth. 31 and 33 could net the Knicks two rotation players

Celtics want him too.....but why trade pick 24 if at pick 13 and below nobody will be better than Shumpert according to Anubis?

wait and see...
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

I'm a fan of Ledo and think he's a great pickup at the 24th pick. Looking forward to some Grunwald magic in getting a 2nd pick and making something happen.

Ledo has some Tracy Mcgrady resemblance and you know who picked Tmac.

No I would not make that trade. I'd rather buy another second rounder and take it from there. Second round gems are good, but they are difficult to keep when their deals are up. What do you guys think of Deshaun Thomas of Ohio State. He reminds me of a more athletic, better shooting version of Landry Fields.

I was reading Chad Fords tiers--there are so many guys in the same bracket that it makes this draft difficult. You have a lot of guys that can really help clubs--and alot of NBA teams need the extra cheap help--so it must be a heckuva process going behind the scenes right now. Last year it was like 1-2 guys you might like in round 2--this year it seems like there are dozens. To sign a 2nd rounder simply sign them to 3 year deal with partial guarantees only after year 1. Houston has been good at this--so has SA. If you commit to a player--then sign him for 3 with non guaranteed years.

Assuming we had no other avenue to pick up another pick.

I would prefer having both 31 & 33 than just having #24.

I think about 20 players have similar value in the 20-40 range. We could probably get Eric Green and Muscala at 31 / 33 or some combination close to that.

I think preference would be keep 24 and buy a 2nd pick after thinking about it. Can we get Houston at 34 for 3mm?

I'm confused -- do we have the full $3M to use on draft night or not? I know a lot of people seem to think that we used it already when we acquired Felton & Camby from Portland and that our ability to use cash in another deal doesn't reset until after the draft. What's the definitive word on this?

We don't have the full $3M to use until July. If we haven't used all $3M in the Felton, and I don't know if we used all or part of it, then we can use the leftover on draft night.
