Jerome signed on to play with knicks summer league squad. I guess him and Sims will be fighting to be the teams 3rd Center.

I half expected Michael Jordan to be coming back out of retirement when I read the title of this thread. I'm actually pretty glad to hear that we'll be bringing Jerome back. I think he has the skills to be a pretty good backup center in the future. He'd easily beat out Sims for the spot IMHO.

Lol, I thought the same exact thing. Then I saw the post said Jerome and my mind immediately went to Jerome James and started freaking out.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

LOL. Great minds think alike. I actually don't mind Jerome James. He makes me feel so much better about my own game, lol.

I thought the kid had real potential to be good when we had him. Good to have him back
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

I think most advance Stat guys loved him. His per 36/40 numbers look great and his % and rebs are always pretty high regardless the level so far. Now on the NBA level he did not get enough minutes but he still flashed.

All I can say is that he is just an intriguing prospect. I am glad they get to look at him up close.

Also, does NY avg at least a 1 player return when they trade multiple players?

I really didn't understand why we didn't keep him. No one's saying he was a superstar but all his #s looked good in limited playing time. He's a 7' center who played well when given a chance. You don't just let that go.

When the Knicks included Mozgov in the Melo trade, Uriji made a comment to the effect of "when you see a skilled 7 footer on the other roster, you take him". Assuming Morey took the same stance. Obviously shipping Jordan out for Camby came back to bite us (I think Jorts was the biggest loss of the trade), but if Camby performs anywhere close to what was expected, you don't give it a second thought.

Glad Jerome is back. Now I'd like to see Harrelson as well.

I thought we let him walk but you're right it was part of the Camby trade. Regardless, I'm glad he's back.
