So did I. I was disappointed when they let him go
I think most advance Stat guys loved him. His per 36/40 numbers look great and his % and rebs are always pretty high regardless the level so far. Now on the NBA level he did not get enough minutes but he still flashed.
All I can say is that he is just an intriguing prospect. I am glad they get to look at him up close.
Also, does NY avg at least a 1 player return when they trade multiple players?
I really didn't understand why we didn't keep him. No one's saying he was a superstar but all his #s looked good in limited playing time. He's a 7' center who played well when given a chance. You don't just let that go.
When the Knicks included Mozgov in the Melo trade, Uriji made a comment to the effect of "when you see a skilled 7 footer on the other roster, you take him". Assuming Morey took the same stance. Obviously shipping Jordan out for Camby came back to bite us (I think Jorts was the biggest loss of the trade), but if Camby performs anywhere close to what was expected, you don't give it a second thought.
Glad Jerome is back. Now I'd like to see Harrelson as well.
