Colton Iverson--I would not be surprised if he ended up being the best C in this draft. I've been pretty good at looking at big guys--and to me he is the only guy that I like from the C position in this whole draft. He's big and very skilled--much more skilled than any other big guy.

Only center in the Whole draft , really? I think there are a few very capable Centers. I like Dieng not as a starter but I think he can be a solid back up Center. Just saw that Col st played Lville in the tournament going to find that game. A lot of the prospects u guys keep listing on here I cant find full game tapes on and highlights to me are worthless. It shows there athletic level but doesnt show there overall BB IQ

I like Len a lot as well. He has the frame and a wide array of Offensive skill. His Defensive rebounding needs work and he needs to finish at a higher rate. He is however far more developed offensively at 20 then many prospects at his age.

JM--Its hard to disseminate a really good school with a go player versus a school that is 10 times better. Also the college game is a much different animal than the pros. Obviously you need athletic translation--in many cases--can this guy do that in the big leagues. In Iversons case hes more than athletic enough but hes also 265 pounds versus Dieng 230. Dieng has developed a little jumper but I want to know how he is going to stand up as a back up C at 230 pounds to 260-280? In my own personal view---when you say C to me that is 6-10 250+++

here is some tape from just a few days ago playing against other draftees. He is darn good shape for 265. Brad Miller was even drafted--look at his skills for 265---I dont see any other true C who can shoot like that and you can see he will bang. Not a shot blocker but that is not necessary when you put a body on someone.

I thought Deng was 245. How many Centers are legitimately 280 in the NBA today? Roy Hibbert, Dwight Howard isnt even 280. I understand the need for a bulky post defender but how many teams have 260+ post scorers. Can he move laterally at all? Can he defend the rim and alter shots? Is he just a guy that stands in 1 spot and cant move? I will go watch game footage of him but from that video his lack of athletic ability is evident

How did Brad Miller move? How good was he? There are more factors in the 5 position than any other spot.

And im sure we can find 20 guys that failed fitting this profile to every 1 Brad Miller.

quite under rated, would not mind him if we can get a 2nd round pick like if we traded Chandler for 3 2nd round picks at pick 45

Here are the numbers against ranked opponents during the regular season

New Mexico # 14 15 pts 14 rebounds 2 blocks 2 assists
San Diego State#15 18-pts 11 rebounds 2 blocks 2 assists
New Mexico again #16 26 points 15 rebounds 1-1
Conference final against UNLV 24 points 16 rebounds
Louisville number 1 overall and champs 9 points 7 rebounds 2 blocks 2 assists

Remember this team was a pretty high RPI(20 overall) team--they played good teams all year and got to round 2 of NCAA's

i saw him play in college...was never impressed...you can teach size so hell be drafted but im not sure how long hell stay in the NBA
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Dieng, Muscala and Gobert I would take them and send them immediately to Hakeem for training.

In this offensive system he could fit in easily and produce. If he can defend the pnr at a high level he would be a nice 1st year player.

Also, if you look at most Center in the league their practice shooting would probably wow you.

Did you see the Jerome Jordan practice shooting didn't miss a shot from 12-15 feet out.

Muscala is a 4 there is no doubt about that. He is not a 5 man.

Everyone can shoot who makes the NBA. This guy has a really strong body--he has Brad Miller written all over him with his skills. Same build skill player etc... Miller wasnt even drafted.

Thats pretty impressive just was curious why in the Big 10 he was averaging less then 20 minutes a game as a Junior. The offense not a good fit? Im going to watch the Louisville game when I get home

It would be cool to see some situational numbers like as a pnr finisher, post scoring, pnr defense, rim protection, and more stuff like that.
