But Ledo is also a fascinating possiblity. A born scorer who has been compared to O.J. Mayo, he was ineligible at Providence this past season and then opted to enter the draft.

“I think he’s a 25-30 guy and if not, certainly in the top of the second round,” one veteran NBA scout recently told SNY.tv. “He’s an intriguing prospect, but it’s a very tricky deal as far as you haven’t seen him play at a high level.

“I watched him do 35 minutes of shooting at a walk through during the season and it was one of the greatest shooting exhibitions I’ve ever seen,” the same NBA scout said. “The coaching staff over there thought he was gonna be the Big East Player of the Year next year.”

Intriguing prospect. He isn't undersized and can handle and shoot the ball.

This kidd has had his share of issues off the court... but who gives a crap. We need to stop thinking we are the yankees. This kidd can shoot the lights out , and is a great athlete. amazing range

Look at these headcases who turn out great
Lance Stephenson---we had two picks directly before him and wasted one on ANDY RAUTINS
Shawne williams--- off court issues, played great for us
chris anderson--- child porn allegations--- has put miami over the top

Why are there character issues about him? What did he do to be banned from his freshmen year?

Watch out for Ricardo Ledo. He has worked out in Boston, Minnesota, Denver and Memphis and the word from all four teams was that he was very impressive. With his size (6-foot-6, 197 pounds), skill, and shooting ability, he's poised for a significant rise in the rankings on our next Big Board. With Indiana's Lance Stephenson (see here for Stephenson's ordeal) thriving right now, teams believe Ledo, who didn't log a single minute in college playing time for Providence, might be able to make a similar change.

Oh well. Guess we wont be getting him.

Yeah but that is because 24 is too high for him at this point.

Chad Ford already has him in the first round going to Denver.

Draftnet has him at 41 and draftexpress has him at 33. Draftnet is due for an updated mock. It will be interesting to see if they have him moving up as high as the Chad.

There is little movement in these mock drafts from here unless someone really hers legit info. The one shake up is the Russian guy who was a 1st rounder pulling out.

L. Brown is another nice option. Pure PG at 6'5. Great athlete. Lacks a consistent jumper but has great form and should improve.
