Knicks trade:

Allan Houston
Tim Thomas
Frank Williams
2nd round draft pic(s)

Knicks receive:

Tracy McGrady
Grant Hill

Knicks get that 2nd superstar player to pair with Marbury. Can they coexist?
Orlando gets rid of Grant Hill (who the Knicks will put on IL) and his contract.
Orlando gets three starters for McGrady, who would likely opt out anyway.
Plus Isiah sweentens the deal with draft picks. Are we overpaying? Do we care? It's Tmac!

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

A healthy Houston might get that deal done.

Can't see them trading for an unhealthy Houston.

I'd do that deal in less than a micro-second.

Question is, if you were them, would you do it ?

I guess we'd need to put a 1st rounder in too.

Look at the thing from this side. We get rid of our worst contract, and we get back one of the best (if not the best) SF in the league.

Overpaying means squat when you have the opportunity to pair marbury with Tmac.

Maybe we'd also have to take some other bad contracts, while provinding them with expiring ones (OH, deke...).

Cause the sixers can give them iverson. hard to match that isn't it ? Though I doubt AI would accept to come in a wrecked ship like the magic currently is.

I believe this one makes more sense-the magic receive Houston the maintain a semblence of scoring, Thomas who is tradeable, a young PG and an expiriing contract plus a draft choice or two.

New York trades: C Kurt Thomas (11.1 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 1.9 apg in 31.9 minutes)
PF Othella Harrington (4.6 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 0.5 apg in 15.6 minutes)
PG Frank Williams (3.9 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 2.2 apg in 12.8 minutes)
SG Allan Houston (18.5 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 2.0 apg in 36.0 minutes)
New York receives: SG Grant Hill (18.5 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 2.0 apg in 36.0 minutes)
SG Tracy McGrady (28.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 5.5 apg in 39.9 minutes)
Change in team outlook: -10.1 ppg, -8.8 rpg, and -1.1 apg.

Orlando trades: SG Grant Hill (18.5 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 2.0 apg in 36.0 minutes)
SG Tracy McGrady (28.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 5.5 apg in 39.9 minutes)
Orlando receives: C Kurt Thomas (11.1 ppg, 8.2 rpg, 1.9 apg in 79 games)
PF Othella Harrington (4.6 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 0.5 apg in 56 games)
PG Frank Williams (3.9 ppg, 1.0 rpg, 2.2 apg in 56 games)
SG Allan Houston (18.5 ppg, 2.4 rpg, 2.0 apg in 50 games)
Change in team outlook: +10.1 ppg, +8.8 rpg, and +1.1 apg.

TRADE ACCEPTED

I would do that trade myself. TMack is not healthy either, he has been plegged with a bad back for the last two seasons. Trade Houston and Kurt + Williams for Tmack. That boy loves Isia, and would do whatever to come and play in New York with Marburry.

OUr lineup would be:
Marb
Tmack
Tim Thomas
Sweet
Naser

Steph and tmac would be one of the best 1-2 punch in the league.

fearsome, and they would make guys around them so much better.

Problem would be : who's the king ?

That would be awesome. Now McGrady wouldn't have to throw it of the backboard t ohimself because he's got another actuall player to throw it up for him. Starbury! Tmac would bescoring 40 a night, Starbury Would have a double-double every night becasue he has a reliable scorer......

MacGrady as a Knick is very doable. I can almost guaranty you that Isia is trying to find out right now how to make it happen. After all, didn't he draft and mold TMac in his early days????
