New York Knicks: They started the season so poorly Scott Layden was fired as GM and replaced by Isiah Thomas. Thomas began turning over the team quickly, including the firing of coach Don Chaney and hiring Lenny Wilkens. The additions of Stephon Marbury, Tim Thomas, Nazr Mohammed and Penny Hardaway made them different, but not necessarily better. Allan Houston has been a non-factor most of the season with back and knee problems. Sure, they made the playoffs, but without winning 40 games, it's hardly impressive. They have mortgaged their draft choices, so it would be logical to assume Thomas will continue to spin the wheel this summer.

Another guy writing an article about the NBA w/0 knowledge of the game. A team that was a joke has been turne into a real NBA team. The mere fact that Layden and Chaney are gone alone makes the franchise so much better.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Incredible how someone can give this team a C.. lol It figures... Just the fact that we made the playoffs means this team has made progress from the year before.Even if we have a First round exit we have now an ALL-STAR point guard to build around with some very talented role players in other positions.
What does this idiot expect... for us to get Duncan or Shaq to merit an A+? lol If the team makes it past the the Nets there would be no doubt about it.. the team gets an A+!!! TO unseat the conference champions for the last two consecutive years would be huge.
Let's see where this goes... If they do beat the Nets... Look fo rthis same moron to claim he knew the Knicks were headed for greatness form the moment they got MArbury... whatever... let this moron toot his horn... we'll see what happens starting Saturday.
