I wondered about this too. Is he still under contract for the knicks?
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

That would still make him one of the youngest and healthiest guys on the team.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Not under a "player" contract. If memory serves, he has some type of media entertainment position with MSG. He did say he wasn't done and I remember reports that he was rehabbing with Shump which, I thought was great. Was surprised he wasn't on the red carpet for that 1st playoff game intro.

Not sure why guys might be down on him. He was really balling well during the playoffs...until the injury.

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

from sept 23 2012 via rotoworld.

Baron Davis (knee surgery) will work for the Knicks in an "advisory capacity" next season, as well as helping the team with charity work, in-game entertainment, and possibly scouting.
Baron will miss the entire 2012-13 season while he rehabs from a torn right ACL, MCL and patella tendon, but he still plans to mount a comeback in the NBA. In spite of his multi-faceted involvement with the Knicks this year, he's not expected to be given an official title.

I liked Baron Davis a lot- even though he was hampered all season, we tended to play well with him at PG. doubt he can come back from that horrific knee injury, plus he's not the best player when it comes to working on his conditioning etc.

Dude, I'm still wondering if Jonathan Bender has anything left in the tank.
