![]() he looks like he's trying to play more PG. He'll never be a PG, just a SG trapped in a PG body

![]() He looks like he would be a good camp invite. Any idea why he played on three different teams in d-l?

![]() We are talking about a minimum player signing.
Bayless and Foye are likely to get more than the minimum. I'd give him a look. We are kind of limited financially. NY Knicks - Retirement home for players and GMs

![]() I am not big on Foye to me you could get Freddette from the Kings probably for nothing and he could give you what Foye gives and maybe more if he develops

I'm unfamiliar with his play but he looked good in those clips. I'm not too sure if we can afford to keep two projects on the roster that play the same position though (the other prospect being Chris Smith). |

Because of Fredette's footspeed and inability to run point though, I don't think he'd be a fit for us. |

Its for those reasons that I thought we definitely were working away with him in the draft but took Harrellson instead. |

![]() We could do a lot worst than this kid. Summer league definite. Especially since we don't have a 2nd round pick.

How beautiful if nothing more
Than to wait at Zion's door
I've never been in love like this before
Now let me pray to keep you from
The perils that will surely come

![]() Selby had a lot of hype but like someone said hes a sg trappd in a pg body
Jimmer is trash Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

![]() AnubisADL wrote:We are talking about a minimum player signing. I agree - these are the guys we should be looking at for this very reason. We're limited on ways to improve, plain and simple. Beggars can't be choosers. There's a ton of real solid talent out there in the bargin-bin -- this is yet another example. This kid's got a lot of talent and, yeah, by the looks of it, he's appeared to come a long way operating at the point. I like the Bayless comparison by yellow. A kid like this makes us younger and ups the talent level in the backcourt significantly. |

Yeah, I didn't want to be a dick. Even so, the idea of wasting a roster spot on him churns my stomach because it wreaks of the nepotism that got Marbury's family cushy jobs that they became tyrants in. It almost makes me willing to let JR walk but that would be an irrational move IMO. |

I'm not depending on Chris Smith to do anything but keep a seat warm on the bench. Tell ya what Nard, after the last two years of playoffs, I would let JR walk. I don't think this guy's that good at all. Unefficient, low % basketball throughout the year (along with bouts of immaturity that can pop off at any time) and then 2 stinkers in the playoffs 2 years running now. We don't need this guy, esp. if we had to sign his brother too. That's ridiculous...I get the whole '$5m for a guy that puts up 18 ppg is good value' thing -- I just feel we can make up the production through different player signings and the one draft pick (plus other guys assuming a bigger role like Shumpert) and for far less than 5m. Not the end of the world if this guy walks, believe me. |
