G Anthony Morrow--had an injury filled 2012-2013 but is 27 and averaged 12-13 points and shoots in the 40+ range with three's and could be used as the starting 2 guard using the lower level 1.7 exemption. He fills out the 3 point shooter in starting line up with good size. His cost will be diminished and we can offer him the same type of structure JR Smith had with 2nd year option.

For the MLE if Morrow was not an option at a smaller $ Mike Dunleavy would fit in well here and has been durable.

Not bad but I think we already have enough spot up shooters. Not the type of player I'd prioritize right now.

Not bad when he was in GSW and NJ, but I'd rather have Martell Webster for some reason.

Our entire starting lineup shoots close to 40% from 3. Maybe we don't have that one pure shooter but clearly the 3 ball is not a problem with our team. That's all I'm saying. I think we need another big and a guard that can penetrate.

a PG, a legit 2-way player (any position), or someone who can hit the boards. Those are the needs

i agree...good call briggs..we need players to fill roster spots. for better or for worse, this team is built around the 3...he can shoot the 3
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Why would we want to execute Anthony Morrow? What's he done?

He made Briggs off season rumor list of players the knicks should go after.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

We have Felton as the main PG--we dont have a 2G if Shumpert is the 3 unless we move back 2 a natural 4 and move Carmelo back. I dont think that will work however. We do need a PG back up but I believe that a draft pick and a vet minimum could be the trick.

I would say a big and a guard who can put some points up with our FA money.

I still believe copeland may start next season which makes us semi-traditional. Copeland will work this offseason on his strength to guard 4s and offensively he will remain a great compliment to Melo with his shooting. I think copeland is a stretch-4 next season that we need.

I can dig Cope at the 4, if we can afford him. I still think we need another banger in the frontcout, preferably 6'10 and up, once Chandler contracts his annual case of Mono come the playoffs.

The Knicks should have tried to have gotten Reggie Evans instead of Camby & possibly Kidd.

Hingsight is 20/20- but that is the kind of workmanlike rebounding machine we need at the 4 to help out Chandler & Melo.

Then, you have Amar'e come off the bench at the 5.

And whoever the Knicks acquire this off season, they better be under 34 years of age! Unless its a new coach!

Reggie Evans sis not a fit here.
You cant play 2 guys who cant score--I know Tyson gets 110 points but its off other players creation. When you move the load on to three players--we have seen the results.

One thing; we don't have the LLE to use because we're too far over the cap. The only exception we can use to sign other teams' free agents is the $3M taxpayer MLE.

Copeland would fit nicely offensively but man that is a stretch on the other end of the floor. I don't see Woody going with a sub par defensive player who has only 1 year of experience in this league.
