It's not that bad. We have a 1st rounder every year except for 2014 and losing 2nd rounders isn't the end of the world. The Felton trade does still bother me though. For the life of me I can't figure out why we had to give them anything to take a player they hated off of their hands. At the very least we should've been able to keep Papanikoloau. And, of course, if we hadn't wasted our MLE on Kidd we could have just signed Felton outright.

Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

Agreed. It was puzzling...I mean we couldn't even have gotten Will Barton or even Jon Diebler outta that deal? Portland knew they had us over a barrel with the whole Lin thing and they took full advantage. I just don't know how much of a poker face Grunwald had with Portland on this. Should've hung up the phone or at least voiced his displeasure at that offer and gave them the impression he would be prepared to walk away from it. No idea what type of poker player Glenny G really is. Doesn't look like there was much posturing on Glen's part by the look of that deal..

Once

One line items says...

OWE

and the other says

OWED

That's why you see so many 2014 line items. The problem is the picks we're owed are near worthless because of protection.
