In the end its the Homers scrambling to find Melo excuses and lay blame on all but the simple fact that despite the 54 wins the Knicks are not that good when contenders are in the conversatons and playing.

The Somber enjoyed the regular season from a nice view on the fence were we can see the game and the deficiencies for what they really were.

YOu have 6th man of the year and the NBA leading scorer. YOu don't have a strong enough team around your Mooby to maintain it thru the playoffs. You don't have a feel good ending. Look up the early career of Bob McAdoo, McGrady, Carter, Big Dog Robinson......
The Somberites want to win but don't let emotions cloud the view. One can root for the Knicks without being delusional.
