Youth movement was suppose to start 10 yrs ago.
Everybody thinks championships are built in a NY minute.
NYC culture is our worst enemy. Between the media, the owner and the fans, there is no patients to build a team through youth movement.
So we continue this trend of adding free agents, and vets trying to cheat our way to a championship. It's like a broken record thats been broken for a decade!
Born in Brooklyn, Raised in Queens, Lives in Maryland. The future is bright, I'm a Knicks fan for life!

Knicks dont need to burn the team to the ground.

Their are guys on bad teams that will look better playing with Melo. Grunwald is going to have to see who we can get.

We have a youth movement going with the development of shumpert, this years first round pick, and copeland (not young but a developing rookie nonetheless.)

It's not NYC culture. It's Dolan.

That's a pretty vague question. What do you mean?

Not having instant results, making vague 5 year statements, but quietly building something. Im not sure what it is but they seem to have balance and depth.

Not enough to have a great season, but 49 wins is not too bad.

im not here to advocate for them but "Nets suck" is only appropriate when we finish ahead of them.

Brooklyn seems like they can get better. Knicks Im not sure we can say the same.

Not that I see it ever happening earnestly, but a youth movement is definitely not happening while Melo is here.

Yeah I mean, we've made no progress at all compared to the Isiah Thomas and Mike D'Antoni eras. NYC culture is to blame - we're so darned impatient. It's all our fault.

You guys need to pay the rent and taxes that comes with midtown Manhattan and examine why we can't rebuild...
