All depends on what his value is right now. I can't say that I know what his value is but the Knicks don't have money with the new CBA.

He would be perfect for the Knicks and Melo's play. Too bad we did not have anything to give Houston when they were trying to purge contracts for Dwight.

Hes a shot maker and plays hard. I thought that was a dumb move to trade him.

Me too...but...Morey is a forward thinker. He is maneuvering to get Dwigt. He also sent lottery pick Morris to the Suns for a 2nd rounder.

He may also be looking at the fact that Patterson has awful defensive ratings.

That too. Morey loves those numbers. He is the NBA version of Billy Beane.

Does anyone on Houston have good defensive ratings and I thought Robinson contract is more than Patterson's

Here are the defensive ratings I'm using, which take into account pace.
http://stats.nba.com/leaguePlayerGeneral.html?MeasureType=Advanced&PerMode=PerGame&sortField=DEF_RATING&sortOrder=ASC&SeasonType=Regular%20Season&rowsPerPage=100&filters=GP*GE*40
Patrick Beverly had quite good ratings.
Most of their player were in the middle of the pack

You can see that there are a lot of Pacers in the league's top 20.

Robinson still on his rookie contract. Patterson ending his rookie contract. Same with Morris.

do we have the money or cap space to pay for patterson? i dont think we do
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

looking at the trade machine TROb is at 3.3 and Pat² is around 2.1.

That's why other players were included. Houston also got Garcia's ending contract.

The player I would keep an eye on is Greg Smith. Houston has a team option. If they go after Dwight then they will need to shed contracts and Smith might be a casualty. If he does get cut then I would offer him the LLE assuming we have that. If not then part of the MLE.
