Last game of the year. Root to win or to lose?

Detroit if they win (and NO loses) and NJ if they lose (or NO wins).

I think the Knicks have the tiebreaker if they have the same record as NO.

Don't forget to pay your taxes.

Lol, I'm going to the game so I want us to win. But if NO wins, then I'm gonna be rooting for us to lose . I won't be upset though if we get Detroit.

now you got me really confused.

Rooting because you are going to the game. If NO wins, root to lose even if it doesn't matter at that point - did you mean NO loses?

Man just as long as Marbury doesn't get hurt or some wild stuff like that....

On top of that I just hope DeMarr and Frank continue to play well. It looks like one of them is gonna be knocked off the playoff roster.

Houstons been through alot with the Knicks and it would be terrible to leave him home when the Knicks go into the playoffs. But if he can't play.....what the hell man play DeMarr and Frank....what is the problem?

Sad...

If anything we can get a preview for next year with the bench playing.

I hope the Knicks win and NO loses, so we can actually go to the away games at NJ and root for our NY KNICKS! Right guys? I think a lot of Knick fans will be at the away games. Let's put Lebron and the Cavs out opf their misery and shut them down for the last game of the season. Play the young guys again!

ALWAYS root to WIN.

Lenny will be playing the bench anyway so it's not like we can tank the game any more than that. But there's no point in trying to dodge anyone. It's all about getting that lpayoff experience for the crew, especially nice for the kids to see it. Get the fans in the garden going again. Build momentum for next year. Who cares who we play. I'd rather draw DET because it would be a more fun series in my eyes. We'll get to see the Knicks against a real good team. You want to be the best so you must learn to compete with the best teams on the highest level possible. That is the essence of being in the playoffs. Nothing would be proved is the Knicks beat a broken down and injured Nets team in round 1. And even if that should occur, they'd draw DET in round 2 so why not get it over with and play DET in rd 1 where you're fresh and on a roll.

Lenny has a winning streak going into the playoffs, you think he wants that to end?

LIKF,

If what you said happened, then the away games would be in Detroit.

Perfect scenario would be for the knicks to win and carry on some momentum into the playoffs and for NO to win so we play the Nets

Lenny should start the second string with Starbury and crew coming off the bench.... Whatever we do, do not, I repeat, do not give the stage to Lebron James. Just want to let him know, this is MSG and not just any hardwood arena.....Lebron did have a great season and I wish him the best to come, but I still say 'Melo should get Rookie of the year!

I want to win this one so we can get to 40 wins. 40-42 just looks better than 39-43.

I want to win too, but only if NO is beating Washington. Don't buy that we match up better w/ the Pistons. Maybe if the Nets were healthy. The Pistons have been playing great. The Nets have been mediocre. Kidd has looked slow since coming back. KMart looks OK. But without Kidd at his best, the Nets are a half court team, and as a half court team, they're not too imposing. Not forecasting a series win, but at least 2 wins against the Nets. Could see getting only 1 against Detroit.

No we did not bank. 44 minutes for marbury is not tanking. We just stunk it up. Great way to end the season. Getting sweapt by the Cavs, making Lebron look like Jordan. If you could pick the worst way to end the season there it is. And we played all the old guys again. Makes you wonder if our youngsters are not just better then the broken down Penny, the retarded Anderson, and the rest of the "verteran bunch".
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

Knicks came out smoking from the gates...
But bad habits die hard as they matched their opponents intensity...
Then the Cavs stepped it up and built a nice lead...
It took the Knicks a while to get into gear again.
Once they did get into gear they were out of time.

This loss means nothing...
To say we made James look like Jordan is wayyy out of line.
The guy had a ridiculous amount of turnovers.
And he had a couple of flashy layups and one monster dunk.
Other than that.. he really did not impress me.

I look forward to Sat, where the real deal begins.
The regular season and playoffs are two completely diferent animals.
Back in the late 90s we were seeded 8th and made it all the way to the finals... and without the depth we have now.
We have alot to be proud of considering this time last year we were wondering how many years it would take to make it back to the post season.
We all hated Layden and some also hated Chaney... They are both gone.
We are looking great...

Bring on the NETS BABY!!!!!!!

GO KNICKS!!!!!!!!!!!

yep not the way I wanted them to go into the playoffs. We get blown out every time the old guys play. Makes you we are better when the young guys play. We woulc have a great shot against the Nets if this was our lineup.
