He finished with a solid if unspectacular line of 12 points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals and — not surprisingly — zero turnovers. But keep this in mind — he produced nearly the entire line after halftime, delivering all of it but two points of it in arguably the most important second half of his career.

And of the Knicks’ season.

“Just wanted to be more aggressive with ’em,” Felton said.
Felton had just two points, no assists, no rebounds and no steals in the first half, but after his slow start, he was aggressive in the third quarter, starting it with a floater and soon knocking down a mid-range jumper for a 47-42 Knick lead."

Zero turnovers

The coolest part is Felton's demeanor. Not arguing calls but keeping his composure at all times

once a knick always a knick

Nah, Felton is slow and fat and can't produce in the post season. What was Gunny thinking by bring this slovenly imitation basketball player to New York.
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Felton doesn't get enough credit for how good he is. When people talk about our .500 slump for 40 games, they fail to mention that a large chunk of it was Felton injured for a month+ and taking a month or so to get back into any sort of groove.

Right now we lead the league in lowest turnovers. That would've been the main difference if Lin was here. That would not be the case if Lin was our PG.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Felton did average .8 less turnovers per 36 but the biggest factor in the Knicks low turnovers is that they play 2 PGs all the time - 3 PGs all the time if you count Shumpert as one although he's more of a combo guard.

For the post-season, Earle's right that Felton gets too little credit. He's been one of a few players carrying the team.

Felton has been our best player in the playoffs and it's not really close. That offensive rebound he had that led to a missed 3 by JR and a Copeland rebound/layup was all heart. That rebound was one of the biggest plays in the game.

well in the Boston Series is was a combo of Shump and Felton who were the most valuable players on the floor for New York.

Next season they need to dump Kidd and pick up another point guard to run along with Ray

Kidd doesn't make much and I think he can contribute if his minutes are better managed. I don't mind him being anywhere from 8th to 15th man on the roster.

As much as I like Felton and was happy about his return, I never expected him to play this well in the playoffs. In the past he's tended to sputter out in the post season, and that's what I was expecting. Great to see him step up and have some success.

well consider that when he played for Charlotte he was a younger player. Younger players sometimes improve.

And that Bobcats team was awful too!

Lin was a turnover machine with us. That's all I was saying. He had less turnovers this year because Harden was handling the ball a lot of the time. I just wanted to give Felton credit, because he has excelled.

Felton needs to always stay aggressive. He and the rest of the team need to realize he's our 2nd option with JR's slump. He can getthe ball movement going better than anyone.
