Tyson is a big upgrade for them at C--he averages 9 points more(which should put them over the top--and in their offense he might even get a few more) Perkins is their weak line--they move up 5 spots on their 2nd 1 pick
We take on Perkins as a back up 5 and with Lamb picks 12 and 29 either set ourselves up in the future to get another YOUNG star or just refurbish our current roster with some younger players that can step in right away + also provide a base for the future
Not really liking this one Briggs --- Perkin's has been awful this post season. Not sure netting Lamb and basically the #12 pick is worth it.
Another thought would be to move Chandler & Shumpert to LAC for D. Jordan & E. Bledsoe --- we get much younger with Jordan and he still has some potential upside. I don't think we get these guys without including Shump. Bledsoe gives us a starting caliber point guard --- Iman's loss at the 2 is offset by resigning JR and playing Ray at the SG position more often. Sign vet SF for minimum deal -- (Stephen Jackson?)and draft Withey at #24 to beef up our size for the playoffs (or another BIG with promise).
Start.... Bledsoe, Felton, S. Jackson(?), Melo & Jordan
Prigs, JR, Cope, Stat, Withey -- maybe KMART for vet minimum again as extra big....also Kidd may still be around.
With this move we get 3 young players -- Bledsoe, Jordan and Withey. Gives us 3 quality PGs (Bledsoe, Felton, Prigs).
