won thw all euroleague rising trophy and is headed back to its final four for the 4th time in 4 years. Sounds like an all around role type player who shoots 50% from 3 pt range at 6-9 235(22 yrs old)

He was traded to Portland as part of the Felton deal.

Whatever happened to Milos?
the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

Simms played well and so got signed by the Hornets on a ten day contract towards the end of the season. Unfortunately he got screwed over as the Hornets then reached a deal with Louis Amundson (while he was still on the Bulls), and so cut Simms. This meant he was no longer playoff elibigle, so he signed with some overseas team I think.

damn. I liked Simms (from what I saw). He didn't do anything exceptional but, didn't make many mistakes either. Seemed like he'd evolve into a solid "roll player."

Yeah it was the Felton trade. For camby and Felton we essentially gave up 5 second round picks

Sims played here in the Philippines, he replaced Balkman. Was not impressed with his game. He is like Earl Barron, but with passing skills. Based on what I saw we should look at Michael Dunigun. He was a beast here. A true low post player and very coachable.

And you want to keep the momentum going by trading pick 24 for Greg Smith

I think the Knicks still have the rights to Nivins but I don't think he will ever play in the nba.

According to rotoworld he is still a knick. Personally, I couldn't identify Nivins from a line up of one.

I do not think you will find a big player as good as Smith this year anywhere near 24. You're still getting a 22 year old(same as most drafted players age) 6- 10 260 pd player who has proven he can pull down 20 boards and score 20 points in an NBA game--you dont get that luxury in most cases.

I will say this and I might be wrong but, I seem to remember Briggs calling for us to draft Amare and then calling for us to draft Aldridge. Both of those moves would have been better than what we actually did.

I wonder if we can get him back, with a trade exemption for Tyson Chandler with Portland
Would not mind Jeffries back either and another 2nd round pick....
They want a legit C so Aldridge to pair with and do not see Hickson as a C for the long haul...

The trade exemption would be the key for this trade as it would allow us to add a player in the 10m+ range or resign JR with
If JR continues to play like crap I wonder if we can keep him at the 5m or so that we can offer or/and with a backloaded offer *not sure if these are still possible*
While getting a 10m exemption for a #2 or 3 option to go with Melo and some 2nd round picks with high potential to fill the roster

Great idea to re-sign JR. He really has proved his worth here.
