One thing the Knicks are missing this year is the presence of LJ. Even on the bench I think he provided a certain type of leadership that is now lacking. There's not much continuity from the old Knicks to the new Knicks. No more Ewing, no more LJ, no more Chris Childs. The chemistry is not good, and the constant trading isn't helping matters any.

Man, last year I was so down on VG for playing LJ so much. Now we know why he played the undersized, sometimes overmatched Johnson. For his leadership, I miss having him out there.

I think the team misses his leadership, but not his play. He was done and wasn't going to be any good this year. Besides, Weatherspoon offers more and is getting a double-double almost every night. I think he will eventually be starting over Thomas alongside Marcus Camby.

I agree that Weatherspoon is doing a good job.

But frankly I think leadership and chemistry are a big part of this team's problem. Hopefully that will improve with the passing of time as this group of players learns to work together. It can't be easy having different guys coming and going every few months.

Hopefully the return of Marcus Camby will really turn things around.

Does anyone know of a time table for Marcus?

Yeah, I miss LJ. He was like the big daddy of the team, the emotional leader, I miss that as well. I guess all we can do is remember the legendary treys and all those big "L"s.
We suck.

Nope, but I am guessing that he'll back around mid-December.

I heard he could return as early as this coming saturday against the Bulls, but it's not definate. I think he should be back before december and if he can do that i'll be happy.
