according to reports, Smith was out late Monday night partying it up in the club. This pisses me off....he credited the improvement in his game because he stopped the partying. Now we find out he was partying the night before the biggest game of the year. WTF

the fact that you can't even have an unrelated thread without some tool here bringing him up make me think that rational minds are few and far between. Bunch of emotionally weak, angst riddled people. I mean, how many times can you argue the same shyt

What Nalod said:

"Professionalism"

Its what you do to prepare.

Ask yourself:

"Are my actions today condusive to my goals for tomorrow?"

JR I believe needs to consider the ramifications of what he does to self sabatage his professional life with the decisions he makes on and off the court. JR needs to tap into his self esteem issue.

He is super talented and not a bad guy but his reputation and actions are costing him tens of millions of dollars in his 10 years in the league!

ANd more will be wasted in the future!

Smith destroyed any credibility that he gained this year. After having a great year both on and off the court for the most part JR has flushed it down the toilet. he also probably cost himself a lot of money

I was so impressed with J.R's turnaround. It was a great story. He said he didn't care about getting the 6th man of the year award but it looks like J.R's resting on his laurels.

I could deal with him losing his cool and getting suspended, it happens. But everything that came after, no way. On top of that we find out he's partying, drinking in a club late into the night before a game that we most likely wouldn't be playing if he had kept his cool. Then the choke job. You can't make this stuff up.

Its going to take a lot for me to want him back next season. Fans embraced J.R like he had been a Knick for years, and he returns the favor by pulling this crap. Unreal.

LBJ parties all the time, jordan went to atlantic city during the playoffs..

Im not saying it's not a problem, but the kid is 26 living in NY as a rich bachelor.. I saw derek jeter in plenty of clubs during the playoffs in his earlier years.

JR is on a little high right now, from his last 6 wks of the season, and winning the 6th man award. He came out yesterday to that standing O and played so full of himself....He look like MARK SANCHEZ, talent and zero focus.

Well, I guess he'll be a Knick next season.

does losing games 4 (suspended) and 5 (hungover) make him more affordable for the knicks next yr?
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Not that an "enabling" post response really "enables".

Lebron and Jordan when they receive awards go out and self sabotage the positive do they? Jordan played golf and gambled to feed his sickness. Lebron is so talented he can still perform. MVPs and max deals all add up.

Jr has none of that.

Its not the end of the world.

nah, he lose all credibility if he doesn't show up and really contribute to a Knicks win in game 6. We win and he performs well in round 2, no one will remember this. It was one game....he blew it....I am pissed at him but, he has the opportunity to make up for this.

I am not so pissed at the suspension because I felt the league Jobbed us. It wasn't worthy of a suspension but, because it was Boston and after a tragedy, and then there is the rating and money generated from more games. We got jobbed.

not everyone is built like that. I can stay up till the crack of dawn, come into work the next morning a 6am and still perform at a high level. I have co-workers who have parties with me and been incapable of even coming in, much less performing well. EVERYONE IS BUILT somewhat differently. Its called FORTITUDE.

I can do that if I HAD to, but it's something I would want to avoid at all costs...

when I was younger, maybe 18 or 19 or 20, I could party til 4 aM and then put in a full day of physical labor, but those days are long gone,

if I don't get 7 or 8 hours of sleep, forget it, you don't want to talk to me the next day, I will crush everyone's face

I don't handle it nearly as well as when I was in my 20's and early 30's but, I can still pull off an all nighter as long as I have a couple of days between to catch up on my sleep.

you don't go out partying till the wee hours when you have a big game the next day....that was the biggest game of the year for the KNicks.

I thought it was Tuesday (the game). If so, I apologize Mr. Smith That's why you wrote "I don't care about Monday earlier." Opps on my part :)

Regardless it looks bad after getting suspended and allowing Boston all the momentum.

All good feelings about the past month and a half GONE. How does this team beat the Heat¿
