No one in their right mind would rather play Detroit than NJ in the first round.

And I know that some would argue that it's counter productive to force a team like ours to go into the playoffs after losing two straight. But the only way we make into the second round is to go through New Jersey.

A first round win will build confidence. After that, the sky's the limit.

GO KNICKS!!!

we can still get the 5th seed right? if Miami losses their last 2 and win win our last too.

Yeah, but they're at home against Boston, then away vs. Jersey. They're probably going to win both.

I don't like tanking anything. It's just bad for the spirit, I think. But we have a squad full of veterans that should be able to see "the big picture" here. If losing the next two meaning less games means a trip to the second round, so be it.

Both NO and Miami need to lose the last two...
Cause if we win and one of them wins just one game we get Detroit.
I Hope we lose the next two!

I'm gonna root hard for them to win the next to but I won't be depressed as I usually am if they lose I definitely want them to beat Cleveland though so they can go into the playoffs on a high note.

Magic no. w/ NO and Miami is 1. We don't need to lose both, just one, or even if we win both, they just have to win 1. If we win tonight and Miami loses, it could set up an awkward, scoreboard watching game for Wednesday. NO starts 30 mins. before us, so we could know what they're doing, but Miami is at the same time.

At the end, the chances of moving to 5 seem so remote, I hope we lose 1 and get the Nets.

So, all we do is win tonight. If either of the teams has won, or looks like it's winning on Wednesday, we just throw the Cleveland game.

deke plays 3mins, shandon plays 25mins, moochie plays 40mins,and steph plays 12mins? it seemed like lenny WAS trying to tank. on a positive note, our role players did'nt let it happen. m.m.m.moochie!

Or maybe Lenny was just trying to rest our players for the playoffs while also preventing another one of our players from getting injured? Either way, a good win by the Knicks bench tonight.
