Torn lateral meniscus WOW!!

Lateral is worse than medial as its a tear on the outside of the meniscus opposed to in the middle(medial) and has a greater effect on lateral movement. Same injury Lin had

Yowzer! All these injuries suck- who knows what the heck's going to happen out West. I guess either Spurs or Clippers make it to the finals. I didn't think Thunder were going to get to the finals this year, but it's a shame so many teams are so banged up.

That Beverly Kid did not cause this injury on purpose, but players who play like him always cause injuries to other people. I am scared for Knicks players everytime we play the Nets because of Gerald Wallace.

Really?!! That sucks if it's true. His floor game questionable at times, but athletic ability unmatched.

OKC just got downgraded bigtime.

Hate to see any player go down to injury, regardless of the player or team. Rockets have a shot to get back into this series....The spurs are the favorite now but they are far from unbeatable....The west is wide open now....

Wow...I cant call it a dirty play because I dont think Beverly tried to injure him, but is was an unnecessary play. No reason for Beverly to do what he did on that play when clearly, OKC was calling for time as all teams do when they dribble towards their coach. When Beverly knocked the ball away, it went out of bounds so what was the point of that play? Totally uncalled for.....

Holy @#$@#! Wow, that's crazy. Thunder aren't coming out of the west, in my opinion, now. Hmm, we might just get a Spurs-Heat final after all? I think without Gallo, San Antonio might beat Denver. They will beat any of the other teams with the newest situation, in my opinion.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Up until now I don't remember the Thunder having any injuries this year. Just looked it up and all their main players played 80 to 82 games (think one of them played 77)- ridiculous in this day and age!

definitely uncalled for but certainly not dirty, just like you suggested. Man, just unfortunate?

Lots of players do this though, right? Wouldn't be surprised if Westbrook himself hasn't done it.

Well unreal timing. You know-guys like MJ Malone Stockton et al used to play every single game every single night 82 games + playoffs. It seems to me that the NBA is not as tough as back than physically--yet there are more injuries now? I wonder if it has to do with guys using more athleticism versus skill or what have you. Still this is unreal to the Thunder who put so much reliance on Westbrook. They did start playing Reggie jackson and he played well later in the year--I would wonder if they moved Jackson to one and play either Lamb or Jones in the 2nd unit.

RIP Crushalot😞

Whoa! Hadn't heard that! Spurs would have to be favorites if they were completely healthy... West is wide open now.
Now the joy of my world is in Zion How beautiful if nothing more Than to wait at Zion's door I've never been in love like this before Now let me pray to keep you from The perils that will surely come

True, lots of players do this but the risk is higher than the reward especially if it results in an injured player. Its moreso done to be annoying than it is to get the steal which almost never happens. As you said, I'm pretty sure Westbrook has done this before too, but like I said, its unnecessary...
