23 points in the 2nd half for the celts , are we that good defensively or are the celts that bad..

Woodson takes every opportunity to preach it, only talks about it, and it shows, especially in the 2nd half of games.

Its like they challenge themselves to break the record when they held them to 25 the game before.

This is true, but still... Twenty-three second half points after limiting them to 25? Thats something! The C's aren't pushovers at all.

Hey im not disputing that. I think we would have beaten the celtocs even with Rondo healthy

His block on Paul Pierce put him at the top of my list

I do believe we were this good defensively, but we slacked during the season.

But the team is focused right now. The way they come out of the halftime rest, feisty and grabbing control of the game in overpowering fashion? Its just beautiful.

Keep the intensity! The Celtics are making us play playoff basketball and we are succeeding in amazing fashion defensively.

The Celtics are without a point guard and it shows. Age is also showing as their shooters are inconsistent at best. Pierce and Garnett are running on fumes.

It has been a long time since the Knicks have had a big that is as good defensively as Kenyon. How bout that Kenyon Martin?

They got "celtics" on the uniform but they are cooked.

Kenyon Martin put it best "We only protected homecourt which is what we are suppose to do" Game 3 is the most important game in my opinion. We win its over but if the celtics win they win then they will get momentum

Folks lets be real...yes we played great def but also boston sucks without rondo. If rondo was here ita a diff story. This is more like taking advantage of an injured opponent. Im still happy with these wins though
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

I don't think so. With Martin, he will never have to play Center. It also gets Melo off the ball more. His defense is better than Cope and Novak. I just think the Knicks will need the low post play going forward.
