this was a no-brainer as far as I'm concerned. George really stepped up especially when Granger was down

I probably would have voted for Larry Sanders, but George is very deserving. Kudos to him. Glad he has a couple weeks to enjoy it before we send him home for the summer.

Jrue Holiday was a huge surprise to me in the first half of the season. Top 5 PG play.

Other Honorable mentions: Grievous Vasquez, Chandler Parsons, Vucevic.

Did anyone else see "Boy George"?

That's odd. Once you adjust for mpg, he put up almost identical #s to last year.

Except he shot the ball worse. I haven't looked at his eFG so maybe that is high.

that's cause stats never tell the whole story...yet some people will keep pointing specific stats out to help make their point.

It's obvious if you ever watched the Pacers that George is a much improved player and Indiana's most important one as well at the moment.
His stats might not tell you how much he's improved but I'm pretty sure everyone on the Pacers roster and fanbase can tell you that's not the case

To be fair, his assists were better. That compensates for his lower shooting but doesn't indicate substantial improvement in his overall game.

Well...stat wise (FG%, etc) you could say neither George, nor Melo, nor JR had improved much (if at all), but that's where watching actual footage of the game instead of just reading what's on the box-score can help you out.

I'm pretty sure they've all had their best personal seasons as of yet, and pretty much anyone watching either team will agree with that, even if the boxscore doesn't necessarily say so.

It's ok to look at stats and get some idea of how a player's playing, but you'll never get the full story just by watching the numbers, and that's exactly why some people piss me off at times (not talking about you, just so you don't get the wrong idea), because they can twist any specific stat in their favour to try to make their point even though they're generaly overlooking most parts of the game when doing so.
