Earl just make sure the weeks worth of pay stretches as far as it can go....because you won't stay long

Has Barron been playing anywhere since he was cut by the Wizards late last year? He actually won a championship with Miami back in 2006...

Well what other ex Knicks can we sign? Might as well scoop them all up now.

In the end Q and Earl Barron are strictly "Break open in case of emergency". Which in the Knick's recent history is very possible.

Barron returns to New York after playing here in the 2009-10 season, when he put up 11.7 points and 11 rebounds over seven games. It was by far the best outing of his six-season career, during which he has averaged 4.9 points and 3.6 rebounds per game.

Well....after we win this championship, you will start to see quality bigs on the knick roster taking a pay cut like Ray Allen did.

Until then, get used to picking up scrubs as cheap backup players....Can't afford anything with the amount of salary we are giving to Melo, stat and chandler. Be happy we even got a 7 fter that doesn't crowd the lane and like to take those mid range jumpers....Oh yeah, he rebounds too.

I really don't understand what all the fuss is about with these guys....

I'm excited by this, at least in the sense that if we have to tap into our DEEEP bench and burn some garbage time minutes in the event of a blow out... or if we're nursing a big lead. We don't need to cause any unnecessary wear and tear on 'Melo, Cope or Novak guarding bruiser centers.

I did not like the fact the Knicks let Melo guard Hibbert in only a moderately important game. (we just needed a win vs Atlanta or Charlotte to clinch)

Things will be okay as long as Chandler and KMart stay close to 100%. I would love to see Amare back in time to burn some minutes in a long 1st round series or 2nd round.

Yea Amare coming back sometime in the 2nd rd will be key. Even if its fir 10-15mins off the bench to spell tyson and kmart. Eat minutes
