...this team had the $25M collected by Amare and Camby to use on contributing players. The Knicks are basically on this tear with 2/3's of the salary cap worth of players. Imagine a legitimate second superstar that actually complimented Melo. I know people are going to point to JR as that player, but he's not a $20M player. We could have been paying him his salary + Camby's and it would have been a perfectly fair deal at the time. Having Amare's $20M to invest in another big time player would be sick.

I love Amare, but we've yet to see any real synergy with Melo, and he's always hurt.
And Camby, what's up with that foot man? Is this guy just allergic to a Knicks uni? Picked up right where he left of when he was traded away. If, as people claim, they're saving him for the playoffs, wouldn't now be a good time to let him shake the rust off and get in a flow in real games? Personally, I think he's not going to have any meaningful minutes in the playoffs.

Imagine if A-Rod gets released by the Yankees and could join the Knicks as our shooting guard.
