Always a good debate them player rankings. I guess the perspective is always from where your coming from and after no. 2 perhaps it gets subjective.

Melo up from 17th last year!

Melo got a nice boost from ESPN from 17th. I give him a better one as at the moment he is a force carrying his team on his back.

Maybe we can revisit this after the playoffs. Melo at 5 is strong and as far as I can go.

Yea Melo ahead of Kobe at this stage in their careers. Nalod is right Melos great yr has really elevated his status around the league. Some didnt even have him in the top 15. He had a real down yr last yr til late and a bad playoff series. He was looked at as being selfish and one dimensional and very ineffiecient. This year he improved on all thise things

Woodson deserves a lot of credit for Melo and JRs play. At times i wanted to strangle woodson for catering too much to those 2 while others like novak kidd prigs shump regressed but his trust in them has really paid dividends

I don't know if you consider mvp rankings different from player rankings but Melo is ranked second on Sheridan Hoops.
