Pop has done another masterful job as well. If you consider the roster and the illogical record of Denver then George Karl has to be considered too. I kind of put Woodson in this catagory as well. ON paper we knew the knicks could be a top 4 seed but to be this far in and so close to 2nd seed, without Stat, then it tells me Woodson has these guys playing at or above thier on paper potential.

Thats pretty damn cool. Melo has really closed in on Durant with this recent stretch. Durant is not a good defender at all. Melo is at times if the matchup is right. Melo can also be a better rebounder when he is engaged. I would prob still take Durant because he is so frickin efficient, better finisher and gets to the line at a ridiculous rate every single game. Much like Harden. Based on records i have lebron durant melo in that order for mvp. Glad melo is a knick. I stated i wouldve traded him when we are struggling only because he was the only valuable piece on the team along with tyson to an extent. Amare has no value. At the time i wanted to start over and turn melo into picks and multiple atars instead of Melo 1 on 5 basketball. Kmart and the others picking up the slack when their number is called like cope shump felton and kidd allos melo to go 1 on 5 successfully

Maybe because I bleed orange and blue....But whenever I'm comparing two players that are close in any category, I'm leaning towards the knick player.

Durant is nice....but right now Melo is at his peak. I don't see anybody stopping him at this point in time. When your jumper is going in without the net moving, against all different types of players...tall, short, strong, weak. And Melo is doing this in NY......Gotta give the edge to Melo just to be able to deal with these fans and the NY media.

Homer: I just don't see Durant with the second chance put back ability that Melo shows. Those O bounds sure pile up.
Somber: Durant is more efficient, and doesn't need to rebound his misses, since he has so few.

Realist: KD has been to the free throw line 243 times more than Melo, the NBA really loves this "squeaky clean good guy"

Centrist: Melo gets his shot blocked much more than KD, but that equates to putting less pressure on his Knick teammates since they'll feel both sorrow and relief that it wasn't them.
