Retire his number? Emotionally I get it, objectively might not be. He played 206 games here out of 873, about 23% of his career.
He had a nice run, it was special, just not sure in the heat of the moment we put his number there without perspective. Some franchise's put them all up, some reserve it for career players or those that bring the chip, MVP, and a long career, like Ewings. Its a good discussion and one I could go either way. I remember we discussed years ago H20 and agree he is not deserving. Allan played a long time here and had his "moment" and a run to the finals. Bernard had a great career.
