![]() I see this article in today's post http://www.nypost.com/p/sports/knicks/man_knicks_would_have_won_title_Gv40WpdK4eymod1YBQuObO?utm_medium=rss&utm_content=Knicks
Xavier McDaniel played the 1991-92 season with the Knicks before his bitter departure to the rival Celtics. McDaniel said he believes if the Knicks had re-signed him and not let him leave for Boston, the Knicks wouldn’t be carrying a 40-year championship drought. Seems like a lot of under the table negotiating was going on and too many players represnted by Falk. Ewing, Jordan, and Xman. I remember the talking at that time that Falk wanted Jordan to win his title cause he knew what a bonanza it would bring. Bring back dee-fense

![]() Yeah, if Smith Dunked it...........
So many variables to "what if......" Im sure X-man would have dunked it, then slapped Jordan around, then spit on him, while eating the placenta from the birth of Jordan kids while reading poetry and washing the car. That said, its a bad stain on the knicks history trading Mark Jax also for smith. We have lots of stains! |

![]() Yes, yet another saviour 20 years removed from reality. Who was on the downside of his career, if I remember correctly.
Gee, didn't he go to Boston and help them win a chip? If only Kenny Walker could have shot jumpers! If only Ken Bannister could have...done ....anything! If only Mark Jackson was faster! If only Mo Cheeks had been younger! If only we had drafted Larry Legend instead of M Ray Richardson! If only MJ had decided to "come home" to Brooklyn! |

More is more. More is better and twice as much is good too. Not enough is bad, and too much is never enough except when it's just about right.

Division lead all season long? .600 ball? Let's spend time and energy imagining how much better it would have been watching anyone else score 50 as Knick. |

![]() I honestly don't know if that's true, I do know he was one of my favorite Knicks that year. That was one imposing team back then. I wish we had traded for him when he was younger. X and Kiki Vandeweghe.

To do you one better, I'll take a 36 pt game, 19 assists; 5 steals; 7 rebounds in Game 7 of the NBA Championship series against the Lakers and Jerry West. Walt Frazier did it all. That's why Clyde can say anything he wants in his game commentaries. The difference between fiction and reality? Fiction has to make sense.
