if we win the last three (including the new orleans game) and new orleans loses 1 more game (outside of ours) then we get the 6th seed b/c of the tie-breaker (being 2-1 against n.o. this year).

it really is pick your poison - nj or det?

much more fun series against nj, but could turn out to be a disaster if we get whooped up in 4 games (which is possible). or do we play detroit, with the stifling D, and an injured h20? that could be a 4 and out also but at least detroit is a 1/2 court team which suits us better.

Lenny still hasn't settled into a rotation. That's what's crazy about this team.

If Lenny goes with a 8 man rotation who sits?
You got KT,TT ,Nazr ,Marbury ,Shandon as starters. Then you got Baker, Sweets, Mutombo,Moochie,Hardaway,DeMarr....who plays? who gets dropped?

Baker is the only legit post option, Sweets gives rebounding and great play all around, Mutombo blocks shots and fouls....

These 3 games is what's gonna prepare the Knicks for the playoffs....

Honestly, I hope we get NJ in the playoffs because we match up better with them a lot more than we do with Detroit. Detroit IMO will come out of the East. Kudos to Joe Dumars for putting a very good team together. They have no weaknesses at all in their starting 5, which is something that few teams can say. At least against the Nets, we have players who are motivated to beat them (such as Deke, Marbury). Plus the fact that the Nets might move to NY gives us even more reason to beat them. I think if we can exploit their weakness at the C position and slow down their transition game (Marbury has to stop Kidd) then we might have a shot at beating the Nets. If we go against the Pistons, I really don't think we have a shot at beating them. Any of you guys read the Post this morning? Sports writer Marc Berman said that the Knicks should tank the last 3 games to face the Pacers first round because they aren't "playoff tested." I wonder what this guy is smoking...

I would probably bench Demarr and Moochie. The other guy I would bench as much as I hate to say it, would probably be Sweetney. Plus, Houston might be healthy enough to play by game 1 of the playoffs. I don't see how Lenny will be able to go with an 8-man rotation. He's probably going to do what he has been doing, which is put in any guy he feels is best for the situation.

Well apparently Billups is injured, and now that they dont have Atkins, Marbury could dominate that series. Detroit would still have the upper hand with their front court.

The 'zards will be playing New York like they're playing upset ball.
New York should not be baited for next two games, players need to play injury free. No way can the next 3 games prepare knicks for playoff run.On the last game of the year to put james on lockdown would be nice. If Players haven't tune Lenny in by now their best bet is to bring their A+ game and wing it

Knicks bring their A game against the nets we will be moving on. Im waiting for the off season i really still waitin on wallace to come save us... Take it or leave it knicks get him you gotta make them contenders. The 3 games coming up should be wins for the knicks i think they got all 3.

Once again, all goes well once Deke enters the game!

The reason we were struggling after the KVH trade is not cos of KVH but because of Mutombo's injury. All is well now...we are a team with lots of playoffs potential and a team that no one will want to face because we have a wildcard in Deke!!
