*** GAME #1
RESULT - Smack them by 20
EXCUSE - "oh we were so freaked out about Hurricane Sandy" even though it's the Knick players and their families that actually lived through it.

*** GAME #2
RESULT - Smack the by 20 w/no Carmelo Anthony or Amare
EXCUSE - The Knicks hit an improbable amount of 3s & will NEVER be able to do that again

GAME #3
RESULT - Knicks Lose
NO EXCUSES because this was the real HEAT team and all is right with the world.

*** Game #4
RESULT - Smack them by 12
EXCUSE - LeBron & D. Wade didnt play even though the same Heat core had just beat San Antonio the night before w/o those players and we all know that San Antonio is a far superior team than the Knicks (except for the fact that, oh yeah we smacked them around 2X this season also)

Because there is an asterisk, first game was Hurricane Sandy, second game was just hot balls and Heat were I think there was a reason, I think they were tired, I forget,

third game, if it was Lebron and everyone, that's the real Heat,

and now the fourth game, no Lebron and Wade, what can I tell you?

I'm gonna be honest with you here: Lebron and Wade are preparing to open up an unprecedented can of whoop ass on us if we see them in the playoffs, that was their plan the entire time, to lull us into comfort, then they pounce.

Mark my words, our first game against Heat in playoffs: Heat start first quarter 32-14

Unfortunately it's just the way it is. Either way we won the season series 3-1. Could have been 4-0 if we didn't implode after being up 17. The Heat don't want to see us.

Lull us into comfort by losing to us twice by 20?

Heat and media using Sandy as an excuse was a joke. Knicks were forced to play too and it effected them a lot more than miami and their mojitos

Knicks are built to beat the heat. 1st round should be cake. The problem is the 2nd round when we face Indiana. They players that can guard Melo and Hibbert to back them up. Knicks meet them in the ECF then stars are lining up for the knickerbockers.

They were basically scouting exercises, they gave us the opportunity to give our best shot, now they have the results and they will work with this intelligence to make a plan that will stop us in our tracks, because we are not difficult to figure out,

yesterday, with Melo going off, it was a game well into the fourth,

you let Melo go off with Lebron on the floor and Lebron turns it into a Heat win at that point in the fourth quarter

I think IronWillGiroud is playing an flawless game of "reverse jinx". Everything he's posting during the winning streak is completely ridiculous, so I choose to believe he is reverse jinxing whenever possible.

You can say the Heat Championship last year was an asterisk too(2012 lockout shortened 66 game season).

Scouting excercises?

So they planned to lose by 20 to us without Melo? Dude, we won the season series 3-1 and this is a positive for the Heat?

Yeah it was a game yesterday but we still won by 12 the same way we won by 20 without Melo and STAT. The same Heat team that beat the Spurs the night before.

Bottom line is that we match up well with Miami.

As long as his fantasy players are doing well, nothing else really matters.

Heat don't want Knicks to build any confidence from beating them, so there will always be an asterisk. It's an excuse to let you know they aren't showing their true team in case the Knicks win.

Because the theory is that the Knicks as constructed can't win unless they get "hot" and "lucky". Win in the playoffs and change the mentality. Why should anyone give the Knicks the benefit of the doubt, of all teams?
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

If they do meet I just really hope the refs let the physical play happen and don't fall for the LeBron crying game when Tyson Chandler and KMart put him on the floor.

Why an astrik?

We smacked the good early as we smacked others. Teams don't play the same over the course of a season. Some get better, some worse.

We won a game last nite we should win. The Heat are not the same without the best player on the planet and Dwade who is an allstar still.

Why celebrate "we won the season so we'll beat them in a series!"?

I'd love to see make an ECF against them! The outcome? I don't know, I'd have hope!

Hope is enough to tune in!

If we could just muster the ability to be able to win every single game the right way, against every team's fully healthy, best possible line up, during a year without shootings, natural disasters, acts of God, religious holidays, opposing team marital strife, we'd...ummmmm......

get a chip!

Yes, unlike last year it seems we have a fair chance to beat them.

Why does every victory against the Heat seem to get an asterisk???
