Looks like the Knicks will be either 2nd or 3rd seed. Boston, Chicago, Brooklyn and Atlanta looks like will be either 4th, 5th, 6th or 7th seed. I think the Bucks are stuck in the 8th seed.

Who would you like the Knicks to meet in the 1st round to guarantee they advance to the 2nd round?

It shouldn't matter. Championship contending teams don't sweat the first round. Especially now that it's 7 games. Just take care of business and we'll be fine.

Boston. Return the favor for 2 years ago. Plus Rondo's out and they struggle to score.

Definitely don't want Chicago, Rose or no Rose.

the knicks are going to beat any of these teams be it a sweep or 7 games. it would be an utter shock if they didn't and an unmitigated disaster.

it's the second round we need to be wondering about.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Chicago and boston wont be easy. So Rose is not playing thid yr? Less than 10 games left. Not enough time to get into playing shape and gel

Nyets play us harder. Atlanta is probably the easier matchup but jeff teague will torch our guards. Might as well knock off the Nyets in the 1st rd and give them no sense of confidence and feeling of accomplishment. Then all their bandwagon fans could go into hinding or fall off the face of the earth

Went with Atlanta. Scared of Boston mystique. Thibs is a great coach. Would not mind the Nets but I think Knicks matchup better against ATL.

I would play Boston, with Martin on board to help Chandler he negates Garnetts freedom in the paint

Just avoid Chicago. Boston or Atlanta I think we'll handle in 6 games or less. Brooklyn or Chicago is going to be a close series. I think we beat Brooklyn in 7. Chicago, not confident.

id LOVE to play atlanta in the playoffs - theyre not a smart team
i wouldnt mind playing boston - i just think theyre old now
milwaukee - same with how i feel about atlanta

BKN/Pacers - street fight but i THINK wed prevail

i DONT wanna play the heat or bulls!

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Miami will get Bucks. Whoever prevails between us and Indiana (#2)will get Boston or Chicago. Likely Boston. 3rd seed gets Chicago(Pacers -Bulls) is an ideal scenario.Brooklyn will get Atlanta most likely.

Yep perfect world we get bucks or hawks 1st rd and brooklyn in the 2nd rd. Thats if the Nyets make it to the 2nd rd. They are the team most likely to face a 1st rd upset imho
