Jose Conseco came out about roids and was not given much respect because he did not offer solid evidence and was selling a book. He had money problems. In that case the cred came way after.
Donaghy might be correct but there must be more evidence.
In the Pac-12 there does not seem to be a legit monetary incentive but Rush seems to be asking for it to happen and if you read the article you'll see there was incentive to cooperate.

I said it before, I think it stunk and the league wanted the lakers. No proof.
And back to the original point, that if you want to dethrone the champ you better be much better because the league might not want it that way.
