Brilliant article, fantastic photo. The fact that "The Dunk" is still spoken about to this day is a testament to its greatness.

we an incredible piece of writing!! That dunk had all of our opes in it. John Starks will always be more remembered for that dunk than he will for shooting us out of the finals the following year. I miss him.

I used to love how he would get pumped up after making a big shot and bang his chest...
I miss his energy, enthusiasm, DEFENSE, and HEART!!!
I hope some of our guys show these kinds of traits for us in the playoffs.

I really got to say that John Starks had a BIG part of me becoming a Knicks fan!!!! I started to watch NBA basketball with the 1994 finals against Houston and it was that intensity and enthusiasm that players like Starks and Ewing where showing that made me fall in love with that franchisee ever since!!!!! I really loved the fact that he could really get crazy on court!!!!
