I think there's a good chance both Knicks and Pacers end the season with 49 wins. For that to happen, the Knicks would likely have to win their remaining game against the Pacers, so we'd end the season 2 - 2 against them. I also could see us both having 44 wins in the conference. Next tiebreaker is record against playoff teams in the conference. I don't know how that one works out, but given some of our braindead losses against the likes of the craptors, and our 2 wins against the Heat, maybe we have the upper hand on that one?

It sure would be nice to have the 2 seed -- especially after the mid-season swoon.

We've somehow made a lot of enemies despite not making it past the first round of the playoffs in a decade (quite an achievement to be so disliked!)- Bulls, Heat, Celtics, Nets and Pacers all seem to hate us, which means they are more likely to bring their 'A' game. Actually add the Bucks to that list too because of Jennings.

Even though it will be tougher for us, I'm glad the Eastern conference playoffs look like they'll be a bit more competitive this year- last years were dire.

I want the second seed.

If we are as good as advertised a second seed is better than anyone but the 1 seed.

1st round win against the Celts means more than MIlwaukee.

I think some of you can't handle losing to the Celts in the first round.

When did we get crowned the top team in NY?

We either beat them or go further!

There is no rivalry until they play a significant game/series!

So we can't be the man until we beat them in a significant game/series!

They "ain't the man", but neither are we!
