Give Tyson Amare's roll and let Tyson play against second liners and dominate. This is a different better team with Felton at 2G and Kenyon at 5. Its more mobile and explosive. Tyson can play a huge role in 25 minutes off the bench.

Worth trying what you and Briggs both said. I like Prigs in the starting lineup, he makes the team more teamlike. So, i like Briggs suggestion.

Regarding Chandler, 25 minutes a game is GREAT for him and I mentioned that in a thread the other day.

lets not get crazy. Tyson has had his bad games for sure but he is still important if we are gonna go anywhere in the playoffs

These are not trading cards. They are personalities and people with fragile relationships.

Moving players because you "like them better" makes as much sense as coveting the food on someone else's plate at a restaurant because his date is cuter.

Ask not why Chandler should take a backseat, visualize big brother Kenyon Martin getting Chandler's back and helping him defend the paint.

Martin's been far better defensively and still gives some offensive production. He's been a great signing and has outplayed Tyson by a wide margin. But Wood ain't bringing him off the bench(Tyson) so this is pointless unfortunately

Tyson is not getting benched but maybe we can trade him for picks and backcourt help in the offseason

Amare is very brittle. However in the rare times he is healthy he is still very effective. lets hope he is back for the playoffs and last until the finals

There's no doubt Tyson sees the effect Kmart is having on this team. I'm sure Chandler wants to come back strong, doesn't want to feel like dead weight. Don't count him out just yet.

Dont think he wants them on the floor together

I guess we go back to slow 1st quarter starts

I get where he is coming from but I would like Melo at the 3. However, having Martin on the floor with Cope and/or Novak is much better than anything else. Throw in just a pinch of Camby to keep Martin under 25 and Chandler under 30 preferably 28 minutes and it will be nice.

What Martin is doing is allowing us to play a 4-1 spread and move away from other teams jamming the lane for Tyson Chandlers only move--the alley oop. Martin has changed this team almost impossible to do so late in the season and honestly gives this team hope now into the playoffs. Just like the 49ers changed their starting QB late in the season---how can we move away from something that is working?????? At a minimum no reason to rush Tyson back. Having Martin as the main 5 allows guys like Smith and Anthony a LOT of room to do their thing and we play great D with Martin

You are 100% correct. I agree that Tyson hurts us on the offensive end. No real upgrade at center though for us to target.
