Indiana has a rough 3 games coming up. Starting tonight in Chicago. Followed by at home vs Atlanta and at Houston.
We have Toronto @Boston & Memphis but the Knicks are playing well mainly because they have reestablished their identity of catering to Melos strengths. Prigs/Felton backcourt works because it gives Melo two guys who can set him up and promotes ball movement. Knicks need Atlanta in the 2nd rd. They are reeling a bit and we know their playoff history all too well.

Indy has 2 games on hand as well. Knicks can do this if they focus the rest of the way and beat the teams they need to beat

I think it has really helped the Knicks to have guys like Martin, Prigs and for a short time Kurt getting minutes and starting. They are all efficient players on offense and defense so the Knicks aren't as flawed as they were with other line ups. Prigs really keeps the ball moving. Martin has been awesome. I am dying to see what a Martin, Tyson, Melo frontline plays like. Nice to see Camby working his way back also.

Our best seed would be a top 3 that gets us Atlanta in the first round. ATL, CHI and BOS are so close to each other that we should just try to get the highest seed we can. Unpredictable who will finish where right now. Top 3 is vital so we don't have to get Miami until ECF. best scenario would be Miami having to go through Milwaukee and then Boston or Chicago in the 2nd round. we'll have to get through IND in the 2nd round most likely....if we get there.

The Knicks are fine as long as they don't get Miami in rd 1. There are definitely matchups that favor us if we get a higher seed but I think this team will win in the first rd.

If we could put off playing the heat until the ECF that would be great but they are the favorites regardless of when we play them.

Looks like a lot of teams are fighting injuries so I don't see the Knicks being at a disadvantage there unless Melo and Tyson are still hurt.

I don't care about other teams.

If the knicks play well they can take care of business themselves.

I fear only Chicago because Rose is a great player that COULD be very effective. Naturally he could be a drain as well.

Top 3 seed is good by me. We don't know who gets hot and finish strong so the important thing is that we do.

Peronslly I'd love a path that has Boston and the nets in it. Getting to the ECF's that way would have more meaning then getting lucky and going thru some weak ass teams.

Valid argument. I just want to get into the 2nd rd so we can get Amare back off the bench.Beating boston or chicagois gonna be tough without Amare

Certainly beating Miami is going to be damn near impossible without Amare. We've seen what they did to a Melo centric team last yr

Hopefully the Nets lose to the Clippers.

I just want them to avoid Chicago.. That's then only team I'm iffy about them Beating in the first round, healthy or not. All those other teams the Knicks could take care of in a 7 game series

I dont fear chicago as much as I used to since Noah is not healthy. Thibbs was playing him 40mins+. He's from the JVG mold whereas Doc and Pops lose battles in the regular season to win wars.

And who knows if Rose will play. How long it will take him to get back in the flow without disrupting chemistry.

I think right now id rather avoid indiana and boston. Both have had more playoff success than chicago recently.

Give me in this order:
Bucks
Hawks
Nyets
Bulls
Celtics
Indiana
Miami
