Whats crazy is the fact that we will clinch pretty early despite the injuries and sub par play, and the fact that the 8th and 9th seeds are 8 games apart..the east playoff bracket is almost like the NCAA bractket, there's no clear cut favorite.

Miami could keep streaking, but the 33 game streak the lakers own, well that team fell short of a championship against none other then the knicks (minus a limping reed)

Houston 22 game win streak also fell short, Dallas won 17 straight games on there way to 67 wins also fell short (against GS) in the 1st round..

Those 2 20 point blow outs against miami is note worthy

1972 Lakers defeated the knicks in the finals. It sucked.

1969-70

Knicks played three finals in the era, all against the Lakers.

It's only because the Nets have played more games than the Knicks. If the Knicks win tonight they clinch a spot with less games played than the Nets.

It's funny to see that. Yeah, like MSG3 said. Even if we lose the next two games, we clinch playoff berth too. Hopefully we'll keep winning so Schnets won't take over the division lead
