Melo for Monta/Illyasova...Monta says he's opting in next year more than likely so if so

Amar'e/Shump/Felton for /Biendrins/Jefferson/Rush

Then sign Jarret Jack

Jack/Priggs/Kidd
Monta/Smith/Kidd
Rush/Jefferson/Novak
Illyasova/Copeland
Chandler/Biendrins/Camby

Our cap is looking real nice after next season(Monta/Jefferson/Biendrins/Rush expirings). We'd have a solid front court and decent back court. If we want J.R. to start then you probably have to move Monta to point guard. I think he can handle the job for 1 season. Jack moves to backup and Kidd move to backup 2 guard sparingly

Oh yes way....I know you constantly come up with ridiculous scenarios but this just might work.

It definitely keeps us very competitive and relevant and sets us up for an immediate rebuild cap wise. As far as the Bucks goes they'd get a STAR and the Warriors get some depth. They're going to lose Landry and more than likely Jack in Free Agency. Amar'e can back up his better half in monitored minutes and play with Bogut who covers over his multitude of sins on the court

He's been on a tear lately especially fantasy wise makin em Jellis. He's just a notch below Melo in the Zero Sum category but on the big stage in a contract year maybe we strike gold here for a year. Low risk high reward type trades here.

Bogut and Amare would be stealing money being hurt all the time for G.State
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

We currently don't have a good team or are you in Wonka World?.

This one allows us 1 more year to compete and then rebuild. We have scorers, capable defenders, rebounding, perimeter shooting, and tradeable assets.

Yeah 2014/2015 we see the light of day and then we have players we can trade for picks if say we struggle Bucks style that year. Although I see the team being similar to the current Hawks team competitive wise possibly better.

I think illysova is the keeper out of this group..... ellis can go when he is a free agent, unless he transforms his game a bit.. I won't bank on that.. but maybe you can move some of those guys in seperate deals.. ersan is the one I would really consider keeping..

I wouldnt trade Carmelo unless I got back the same deal I gave up. I would want a swarm of picks young players + cap room. I don't want another mediocre team. Atleast with our picks we select and build a team around a strategy (and hopefully metrics if the KNicks even know what that is!) moving one vet for the other isnt helping us--especially when we give up the best player. Ill take Monta Ellis is we KEEP Carmelo--but I would not move Carmelo to get him? Its either we can enhance this team with what it has or close to it--or build a strategy that says we can redo this in two years I cant beat the Heat. Remember Denver traded Carmelo and got BETTER going young.

Yeah we aren't beating the Heat or Pacers/Bulls anytime soon but we can start our tear down before them. Funny thing about Briggs's snide reply I'm acquiring players from current playoff teams......so why wouldn't we stand the chance to be a good/competitive team?

Chandler can be traded for a pick

Smith on a good deal can be traded for a pick

Jack can be traded for a pick

Monta can be traded for a pick

Rush if he recovers from his ACL, can be traded for possibly a 2nd rounder

Novak could possibly be traded for a pick to a contending team

We go into 2015 with Cap Space and picks if the team isn't good enough to tweak.

How about Chandler the great for Ellis and Sanders? I may even do Jennings and Sanders. Chandler is a top 10 player according to some so surely a 10 player would be able to swing 2 players.

You're being completely irrational in an attempt to down the idea. You're not getting back what we paid for Melo. You're not getting back a ton of picks from anyone because Melo will be another failed project STAR to build around. He has really taken us anywhere. No team will give up those assets for him. The point in getting rid of Melo is to flush and start over...I would never want Melo/Monta in the same state yet alone the same team.

Oh and Briggs if memory serves me correctly 2014/2015 is the year Lebron can become a Free Agent. Not saying I'd throw my all my eggs in the basket and make it known he's lusted for but I'd give my team the flexibility to do so should he seriously consider coming here...with a team that can be totally built around him

But carry on in your shortsighted reply posting

Bucks stated Jennings and Sanders are untouchable..... but in a dream world sure. Bucks say NO! You're not trading a 30yr old player for 2 young(well 1 really) blooming/potential players under 23 yrs of age. The Bucks can't build around Chandler.

Be real.
Players like Melo are NOT getting traded. They are the choosers were and when to go.
Players like STAT are just done. No one will take on him unless you will rid them off even more hirable contracts (are those exist?)
All the rest is irrelevant sideshow.
This team is cooked and is unwatchable unless you like to follow some Melo-drama on and off the court. Boooooooring it is...

Another reason Briggs rebuttal makes no sense is because Melo has an Opt out clause after next season....no team is going to give up a ton of future assets unless you trade him to a team that wants to rebuild around him.

Start naming teams that want to rebuild around Melo(a place he'll agree to sign an extension to)

I'm waiting Briggs? Oh and I know me mentioning the Lebron blip did this to you.....
