Word is that Dallas made a determined push this spring to try extricate speedy point guard Bobby Brown of Cal State Fullerton fame from his Italian team Montepaschi Siena, but the price was too high to get the 28-year-old during the season. Brown has been one of the best players in Europe in 2012-13 and, after stints with the Kings, Wolves, Clippers and Hornets, is expected to return to the NBA next season with several teams interested. ESPN.com

We need a PG, with a big athletic skilled versatile G/F like a Wilson Chandler

Bobby Brown looks like a poor man's with Lawson's size, good speed/quickness/ability to penetrate, and a decent shot that has been doing awesome in Europe
I think he would love the idea of coming in to NY and possibly becoming the Jeremy Lin of this year with all our injuries
There is no other place that would give him this much attention and the PT needed to promote his his contract for next season

For the F spot, G/F spot maybe Sonny Weems, ex knick Shawne Williams, and currently Malcom Thomas who just signed a 10 day contract
Adding Donte Green and Rodney Carney as possible G/F's as well

Problem is for Woody to actually play these them over his "VETERANS"
That is why I thought Jannero Pargo *just signed a 10 day contract with Bobcats for injured Sessions* fits the best and has decent size/all round skills to play PG/SG
While he would have the lowest ceiling of all, he understands his role, and more importantly has been a journeyman his entire career with good experience/ability/understands how to adapt to many coaches

I would not be opposed to adding Delonte West but he is a shooter/defender, not a PG, and does not have much ability to penetrate that we need
Still he is a veteran and a tough defender, although he is not very quick/fast
He has played with Kidd before and maybe he would have better insight on what to expect of him

I think the Knicks waive white. He was a dnp coaches decision in the last game and had been starting.

Wallace, who is out until at least the first round of the playoffs following surgery to repair a broken left foot, will not be waived, according to Woodson.

White would have to be waived; but only for a solid player like west

Weems, greene, & brown are not good

Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

Agree. I think white has been a disappointment.

I have been thinking about this a bit. Woodson loves his gritty vets. He is loyal to his team but I wonder if he agrees to create a roster spot to bring in Ben Wallace. Wallace played for Woodson and earlier in the year was talking about how Rasheed was still playing and has said he is not retired. Looking at the impact KMart has had is it worth taking a run at Wallace at the expense of White? Wallace would be a nice guy to have around if the Knicks play a team like the Nets who have such a size advantage against most teams.

Wallace could become our Reggie Evans and help to cover up one of our big weaknesses, rebounding. Does he have anything left to make a real comeback for the playoffs tho?

I like the Evans comparison. The Nets scare me. They have so much size and Evans, Blatche and Bropez have been playing really well. Hump always played well against the Knicks. Not sure what Wallace has left but he is a former Piston and he was all about defense and rebounding.
