At halftime, it's 46-36 in favor of the Clips... My prediction looks pretty realistic so far... Kandi's doing well, but then again, which opposing center doesn't do well against us?... Spree, Kurt struggling... Houston doing OK... Jackson has started well, maybe we shouldn't trade him...
We suck.

Whoa, for once we're doing great in the third... 20 points in 6 minutes?
We suck.

One quarter remaining... Allan and Spree; keep this up, please!
We suck.

Once again not a great game, but it was Spree's game again and this is why he shouldn't go anywhere.

You can't say that because you don't even know what this team is capable of at full health. Adding Camby could allow us to make a great turnaround and my bet is it probably will. Adding an all-star force down low who can put up 20 and 15 on any given night has to improve this team somehow. With Camby, i'm confident the only team in the east that is clearly better then us is Milwaukee. The rest of the teams will have to fight to beat the Knicks when they're healthy. The key is to just be patient.

knixkick, i agree wid u in that we shud b lil patient in the coming weeks. as long as camby is injured, we will not challenge much. we will be a washington, miami, atlanta standard of ballclub. however, with the return of the camby man i think we will improve dramatically. he was a monster last year, so think about wot he will b this year with more muscle. he'll kill his opponents with not just energy, but power!!! my feeling is also that milwaukee will still b better than us, but maybe the raptors and hornets also. watch out for the charlotte gang, with b. davis and j. mashburn leading the way they may just have a run at an eastern conference championshop.

We're having quite alot of chemistry and determination problems so who knows what one traded for player could change or a new coach.

I wouldn't mind going to the lottery this season, but I would mind trading out players for squat. Draft picks? Maybe an unconditional from Portland so we can trade up or something.. I don't know.

I think you may have something here but I am not sure if the Mighty Mouse is the answer (because of his huge contract and lack of D).

I have been thinking that Houston has been rendered less than usefull because of 2 things (and maybe they are actually the same thing): 1) There is no post player who draws a double team, whereby the Knicks can swing the ball and have a sharpshooter drain from outside or more easily beat his man off the dribble. 2) The Knicks don't really have anyone who can take their man off the dribble, thereby causing a double team by rotation and thus leaving someone open.

Houston has always had that in the past: Grant Hill, Ewing, LJ. Now, asked to raise his level of play (though posting up, moving without the ball, dribbling, passing), he is in a relativley over-reaching area of ability.

Or maybe he just is an overpaid, very average player.

Thinking about it a little more: I would do a Houton & Ward trade for Mighty Mouse.

I would do that trade since it allows us to switch Spree back to the 2 where he excels. However we'd have to some sort of a 3 or even 4 team deal since Portland already has Bonzi and DA. I'm afraid we're stuck with Houston (unless Denver or Minny wants him?).

simple but tough to accomplish..

Portland trades: Zach Randolph, Damon Stoudamire, Bonzi Wells TOTAL: $15,422,640

New York trades: Othella Harrington, Allan Houston ,Mark Jackson TOTAL: $19,085,000

BONG ACCEPTED

ps this trades get's accomplished through the trade exceptions Portland has. I wouldn't mind giving up a conditional 06-07 and beyond first round draft pick for this.
