Cleveland is in Memphis tonight, so we can actually clinch a playoff spot tonight

This will probably be the first time we make the playoffs in 3 years. So why not care? I'm sick of watching other teams in the playoffs, being a big Knicks fan I'm glad I might get the chance to watch them in the playoffs this year. Don't underestimate this team, we can be a very dangerous team in the playoffs.

Even if the Knicks make the playoffs - what I have seen the past 3 weeks makes me think they don't deserve the spot even though they mathematically win one.

I love the Knicks, I will support them no matter what - and if they make the playoffs I will watch and hope they win. But they really are not that good and it is disappointing that it has come to this. At least we wont be sitting at home waitin for draft night again - where we wont have a 1st round pick

We have one of the best PG's in the game. A slasher in TT who can come up big for us. A nice young C in Mohammed who showed us last night that he can also come up big for us. Then we have a big C who can definitely help us in the playoffs and who has motivation to play against the team that released him. We have the talent. We can definitely make some noise in the playoffs. Thats why I'm excited at the opportunity to watch this team in the playoffs. Hopefully we get NJ instead of Indiana. I know we can beat the Nets in the playoffs. Forget what they did to us a week ago. We can beat this team.

i would rather have a lottery pick than going out in the 1st round with a team that has 0/100 chance to compete for the whole gig and unkown direction. since its a mute point, it doesnt matter. a high draft pick is a better destination that the right to get blown out in round 1 of meaning less playoffs. this is NOT a young team that is building twowards a long term playoff climb but rather a vet team with very little resource to improve.

Well its too late to think about that lottery pick because we gave our 1st round pick away. So stop thinking about what could've been and start thinking about what we can do. We will still have a shot to get into the draft somehow. But this team definitely has the talent to get farther than the 1st round of the playoffs. Plus we can still surround Marbury with players who can get the job done. Our future is not over just because of the trade.

The trades we made were more for the next several years than this one. No team totally remakes itself in mid season and expects to win right away. Yes, we wanted to get to the playoffs with the potential to make some noise. I think we'll achieve that. We all hoped we'd move up to 4 or 5 and win a series. But we didn't expect that to happen.

Next year, after we've had time to grow together and tinker more w/ the personnel, it'd be disappointing to go out in the 1st round. But part of the process of becoming a very good team is going through some wars together. So even if we lose in 1st round, definitely want to be there, want to play well, and get our team a taste of what they need to do to win.

Ridiculous to say we'd rather have a 1st round pick. Would you rather have 1st round pick along with Dyess and no Marbury? Of course it would be nice to have the pick. It would be nice to have Shaq too.

We're very inconsistent now. Our defense is particularly weak. But we can pull together at any time. I wouldn't rule out a playoff series win, or at least a surpsingly competitive series. If we accomplish either of those, it'll be clear that we're moving in the right direction.

So many question marks outside of Marbury. We can keep talking about how this team fits together next year all we want, but there's a good chance there'll be even more roster turnover and an even different make up this offseason. But there's still basketball left this year for this group of Jekyll and Hyde's. The last month or so has been very trying, with nice wins lumped together with absolutely horrific blowout losses. The common thread is excuruciatingly bad defense, and the fact that we can't win when Marbury doesn't play well. All in all we are one man team and that man still needs help.

The team has had an inexplicably hard time against Chicago this season. Normally I would say a game like this against a team that has given you problems, especially after a horrific loss the previous night, is a "character" game. But who am I fooling?! Even if the Knicks win tonight its no predictor of what's going to happen for the rest of the games this year.

It's been a weird season, but all in all enjoyable. There's been surprise after surprise all year, from Layden and Chaney going to Zeke and Lenny coming, and to Ward/McDyess/Eisley/Van Horn going to Marbury/Thomas/Mohammed coming. Let's hope they have another surprise in store.

Knicks just has to get some momentum. They gotta at least stay compeditive in games.....

In my opinion the Knicks beat themselves everytime they lose. The Pacer's game was particularly annoying because in my opinion the Pacers are not that good....what they have over the Knicks is confidence.

The group that has been with the Knicks since the trading deadline has yet to develop any chemistry. They are still trying to figure out what they are good at as a team. Who to go to.....can he hit that shot.....can he catch that type of pass....if I make that move will he know to cut....these are legit questions.

Some times the Knicks look for Marbury or Tim to save them. You can play winnign basketball like that....There is still time to get it together with the 4 games left.

Knicks have to beat Chicago!!!!

Chicago always seems to love playing the Knicks. Curry and Crawford seem to have career games against the Knicks.
