Denver post says Melo is playing tonight but might sit out rest of trip. Dont know if its true or Denver just trying to make Melo look bad and sell papers

I don't understand the thinking behind this,

if you're not playing rest of trip, you are injured, so how can you play tonight? you will be hobbled and risk further injury, what's the point?

the way these teams are playing we may see another blowout with a knick ejection or two. but hey he wants to stick it to his former team let him. he's already stuck it to the knicks.

knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

This isn't a real story. Just speculation. Everyone's going overboard with the medical staff being so bad that they'd let him play if there was a chance to seriously injure himself. I do think that after tonight game he might decide to get his knee drained if he still can't move like he was. But I don't think the plan was to play tonight and then shut it down.

I hope they show Melo respect. I don't like it when MSG does not treat former knicks with respect.

He played there 7.5 years.

IM sure some will boo, but I hope they have some class.

The only class you are gonna see in Denver is from those in the 1st row seats paying top dollar to watch the games.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Wonder what lineup Woodsons gonna go with in this one. I wouldnt be surprised if he has Melo guarding Faried
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

I think their fanbase is indifferent to Melo, I expect a lukewarm 'hello' and then it's game on

Lets get this one- like I said in the other thread, I hope the win because we'll never hear the end of it if they lose- really sad the boards have come to this.

We do sometimes struggle against those types of teams, but we did beat Denver earlier in the season. I was joking about that being erased from the boards memory, but actually I can't really remember much about that game at all- how did we do it?

This was on the tail end of when we were playing really well on both ends of the court. Before Felton and Melo's injuries. Ball movement and 3 pt shooting was excellent. Like every other game through mid December

Melo playing in Denver, then sitting out the rest of trip, is without merit or reason.

Stop the madness.
