Do you trade everyone and start fresh for the next free agent period and try to grab two big names?

Or do you just try to dust yourself off and go even harder next year, resigning JR SWAG and the gang?

Make the big moves clear the tables
Dust yourself off, Felton Melo and Amar'e will get it together after a full offseason without injuries to mesh

Knicks have pieces that other teams want. Plus all our deals expire in 2 years.

I prefer the Knicks not add salary and try to rebuild on the fly.

We definitely shouldn't be entertaining trading anymore draft picks.

1)storm the garden
2)grab dolan by the back of his collar and belt, and frog march him out of his offices and onto 7th avenue
3)tar and feather dolan
4)ride dolan out of town on a rail
5)fasten a collar around dolan's ankle that releases an electric shock whenever he comes within ten miles of msg
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

if we go out in the first round for a 3rd time afer going 12 years without a playoff win it will be a failure. The melo trade will be a bust and rightfully so. I always wanted melo BUT i wanted him to sign with us as a FA because we could have used some of the pieces for a chris paul or even dwight howard.

According to Stephen A and Ryan Ruocco, getting bounced in the first round would be (their exact words) an epic failure.

It would be. From 200-2008 we were a joke. Then from 2008-2010 it was about dumping salary for lebron. lets be honest when we didnt get lebron our title hopes went down the drain. Also we have traded a lot of draft picks as well so we dont even have some youth on the team right now besides shump who is coming off a major injury

The Knicks now have the built in injury excuse so absolutely nothing will happen.

They can't do much anyway. Their team is capped out and only have Shumpert to trade.

Is there a list I have to sign to join this posse? Maybe an oath to recite?

Ban you for the jinxy thread
If you are still following the team and reading sites like this, there is nothing, short of your own demise, that is going to throw you off this train.

(mike Woodson has ) still made the Knicks a first-place team again, for the first time in what feels like basketball generations. Has them with the second-best record in the conference. Thirteen months ago, which Knicks fans wouldn’t have signed up for that? They were bad for so long, so pathetic when Isiah had the run of the place, maybe that’s why Knicks fans have a hard time processing how good they have it again. Whether they ever beat LeBron or not.

Sorry not satisfied with that. Knick fans have gone through 12 years of misery with 1 playoff win. I need to see them at least go to the ECF and have a cometitive 6 or 7 game series with miami

Sorry but that team we had was nothing but a 500 ball club if that. they were exciting to watch but that team was going no where. It was not the Melo trade. It was getting rid of Zack Randolph, and Crawford plus giveing them away cheap along with other pieces because we thought we had LeBron in the bag and we didn't. Melo had nothing to do with our fire sale. You can't put that blame on him. Zack Randolph is putting up great numbers and we gave him away for what??

No you need to undo the D'Antoni hiring, Walsh's plan and the moves he made to execute it and the Amare signing. Best thing that happened during Walsh's tenure was the Melo signing.

what part of roster flush eludes you? the barn needed to be cleaned of all the bull**** that isiah thomas dumped thanks to years of snake oil. walsh did the right thing by swapping longer bad contracts for shorter bad contracts. not walsh's fault that lebron duped the nba. what you are advocating in your post is horrible, namely continuing the isiah thomas tradition.

but let me guess-- you are one of the proud few who defended isiah thomas to the bitter end. am i right?

Proud few?? Define few? They seem to grow on trees, they are running the assylum...

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

If Amare doesn't impact our playoff/title run..My entire summer would go towards trading him (like the summer of 2000 when we traded ewing)..

If we make it to the EFC i would tweak the roster, try and get a young solid back up pf/c

Maybe Up grade our pg position to someone quicker, maybe a felton/kidd for kember walker, something along those lines.
