Agree about Tyler. He is very young, big and a talent. I wonder if the knicks could get him to Erie and sign him in the offseason.

does the kid still have maturity issues that kinda derailed him in israel? he hasnt seemed to have picked up a better work ethic or he just wasnt as good as hyped from a few years back.

Knicks need cheap talent. We can pay him the minimum. If he doesn't improve under Chandler, Martin, Camby, and Amare then we dump him.

I was just thinking about him and comparing him to Drummond. Tyler should have went to college but yes he would be a nice project to have.

The Knicks don't waive Wallace when he is a veteran that just came out of retirement to play a few months and have a serious injury that makes him questionable at best for the postseason.
This, though they should waive Wallace as they need talent desperately. They recently got back Camby, who still plays limited minutes. They signed Martin, who still doesn't play. They start Kurt Thomas and play him less than 4 minutes only not to start Amar'e. They do exactly the same with White not to start J.R. when Melo is out. So they have White, Kurt and Copeland, who doesn't see the court anymore. While it would make sense to sign a guy like Tyler and a guy like West or another guard to add depth to a team aspiring to win a championship... ...this is the Knicks and as the previous points state, we don't use much logic in our actions. I thought his problm was his "motor"..not physixal
Knicks should be improved: win about 40 games and maybe sneak into the playoffs. Melo, Rose and even Noah will have some nice moments however this team should be about PORZINGUS. the sooner they make him the primary player, the better

I would like this signing. This guy would learn so much from Kenyon,Camby and Chandler, just like how copeland is learning from them.
I hope we sign young players to cheap 2 year contracts so that they dont bolt on us when they exceed expectations. |
