I don't think Amar'e will start. I think JR gets the nod assuming Melo doesn't play, which I think it would be wise of him not to. I'd like to see Felton, Kidd, Smith, Camby, Tyson start.

Amare for 50. I like the sound of that but he wont play over 30mins nor should he. I do know that if woodson doesnt start him and opts for camby i am not going to be happy. Someone has to score in the starting lineup

We need Felton and Amar'e to roll back the clock to 2010- after today the schedule is brutal beyond belief, can't afford to lose this one.

Hopefully Kurt's been taking some 'Sheed lessons.

If Woody has such a woody for JR, why will he start anyone besides him? Can't wait for Prigs to be starting next to Kidd, should Felton go down.

I just came here to post this. What kind of stupid **** is this? Instead of starting our best 5 to get a strong start and build a lead we're going to, what, allow Detroit to hang around so we can run everyone into the ground even more?! I don't think I've ever turned on a coach as quickly as I have Woodson.

I agree when it comes to Woodson. The 18-6 and 18-5 stretched earned him a ton of trust. But he's killing me with his lineups. Maybe he'll outsmart us all in the end.

Don't look now, Pistons fans but Greg Monroe and Charlie Villanueva might both miss tonight's tilt against the New York Knicks. No reasons have been given but both are listed as game-time decisions. That leaves Detroit painfully thin up front as the team is already without its best big man, Andre Drummond, who is still recovering from a back injury.

Head coach Lawrence Frank will also miss the game in order to deal with what the team is calling a personal family matter. Brian Hill will coach in his place.

I'd say this leaves the team even more vulnerable but it isn't like anything they've tried against the Knicks so far this season has worked. In the previous three match-ups between these two teams the Knicks have won all three and by an average of 16.7 points.

According to Vincent Goodwill if Greg Monroe can't go tonight Jonas Jerebko will enter the starting lineup alongside Jason Maxiell. If both Monroe and Villanueva are unavailable that leaves just Jerebko, Maxiell and Slava Kravtsov as healthy bodies in the front court.

don't get the lineup, there is a big question if 2 of the 5 starters even belong in the nba,

go with your heavy hitters to start and drill the nails in the coffin: amar'e jrswag felton tyson someotherguy(because melo out)

I obviously dont know this for sure but I think hes a bit stubborn and set in his 1st and 2nd units already and if JR started and played well, he wouldnt have much of a reason to put him back on the bench.

No way he plays tonight. Especially if Detroit is going to be short handed also. Woodsons needs to step up and say "I'm holding Melo out tonight". Even if he thinks he's ok to play.

This will work for short spurts if Felton, Shump and White go to the rim a lot and do some pick and pops with KT. If that's really the starters for tonight, that's how I'd play it. KT can be deadly from 10 to 15 feet and Tyson needs to shoot short jumpers more to keep defenses honest.

Woodson actually said that if Melo told him hes ok that he's definitely going to play
