Nothing wrong with that. I tend to lean towards home grown guys. Not guys lured to play here by 20mil. Gotta credit Amare for being the 1st to come when the team was a laughing stock though

I never lost my love for STAT. That doesn't mean we can't criticize his awful D and lament his injuries, but the truth is that when he's healthy he's clearly the 2nd best player on the team and always has been since Melo came along. STAT is our most efficient "well rounded" scorer. We know we can lean on him as we did before Melo. The only issue has been his health. Woody should've played STAT in the 4th qtr of the Heat game.

There is no reason why he should not be starting now that Camby is back and Martin is learning(offense) and on the bench.

The token starter system needs to go. Both Felton and Melo looks for Amar'e and like I and others have been saying he is giving the team the cutter it had in Brewer but Amar'e is capable of finishing at the rim.

The only thing I do not like is that Amar'e can become a black hole in the post after he makes his move but he did a better job passing in the 2nd half. All the stuff about small ball is crap. Let teams try to match the Knicks. Playing a front line of Novak, Melo, and STat is not helping anything.

TKF does have strong views but he doesn't have anywhere near the anger toward fellow Knicks' fans that NYKMentality does. That's why TKF is one of the most popular posters here.

I thought you'd like yesterday's game- must of been nice to get a break from Melo!

I'm a big Amar'e fan too- I'm really surprised and impressed at how quickly he's developed a post game. To go from having none, to looking pretty nifty and efficient around the basket in hardly any time is really impressive- I've always liked post play so its good to see it again on this team.

I'm hoping if Melo takes a game or two off, when he returns the offence will be rebalanced and Amar'e won't have to take as much of a back seat to Melo as he has been made to so far.
