If he starts him now teams will have more time to game plan to stop both him and Melo . Unleash Amare in the playoffs and catch teams off guard at the expense of chemistry?

Does NY beat Boston right now?

No, Woodson just sucks.

He thinks Melo at PF is the way to go.

I can accept that answer. He's reaching Dantoni levels of stubborness. Right now he is falling back on the fastest Knicks coach to 50wins but that can go away real quick. As quick as his reputation for being a great defensive coach as the Knicks sit 15th in overall defense.

Knicks last year 18-6 when Woodson started Amare/Melo/Tyson

under .500 with Amare off the bench since his return

He is obviously saving him for the playoffs.

I guess some prefer we run Amare into the ground just to secure 2nd place in the East.

I meant saving him from starting now and showing all his cards. Not referring to Amare's health. He can start and still play 25-30mins

If your worried about Miami adjusting to Amare in the playoffs then you already lost the battle. Woody had no cards to hide. He blew it went to his A players. Let's get real here Amare is not a Woody player. If Amare didn't have a rep Woody would send him in the same direction as Copeland.
