Now bench Shumpert for not being ready for NBA basketball--(not his fault) and do no waste minutes on a player that you dont trust like White.

Either do what Pat Riley would do and just cut the rotation down to 7 or bring in a Delonte West to hjelp0 spread the floor more.

Its pretty simple--we struggle to score. We cant hit 100. J Kidd has 15 and Carmelo 32 and the rest of the team scored 42. J Kidd will go for 14-8-6 maybe one m ore time this year. Shumpert is killing us because he simply cant score the basketball. You dont win in the nBA with a 2 G who shoots 25%. James White is not a guy you trust at this point of the year. All of his teammates seemed to be on him as well. Why dont we sign Delonte to a 10 day while we have time and explore this avenue---if anything is not good--well we tried. But not trying is a mistake were somewhat close--but not close enough. We need a shot maker and more offense.

By the way Steve Novak--you can thank the gods for that 13mm. You are a 1mm $ player who got hot for 40 games last year. He is no where he scores when we are up 20 to Sacramento.

JR Smith playing 40 mpg is hurting this team more than helping it.

I saw no problem with Shump on the court to defend wade at the end of the game, not Jason Kidd.
When Miami did the PNR Shump would guard Lebron not a slow footed Kidd. Also this is when Anare comes in for JR Smith for low post offense to draw defenders, he passed out of the double teams well after holding the ball early on.

This is where the game was lost.

Shumpert kept the ball moving he wasn't trying to play pg he plays the role he's been given.

Amare blocked Wades drive by playing help defense in the game and should have been guarding Bosh at the end of the game.

We can talk about JR bad passes across the court but, I would say if we had a low post presence offensively in the game(Amare), Lebron would have been conscience of that and wouldn't have been so eager to try and steal a pass on the perimeter. We saw some good overall cohesion in this game by our players, but we also gave Miami the game. Shumpert was doing a great job on Wade , we needed to limit wade's prowess nature at the end of games and leave it all up to Lebron.

I think Woodson needs top look at the tape and notice who was on the court when we stymied the heat and who was on the court when they hit us with quick buckets that changed the momentum of the game.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Woodson doesn't make adjustments to get the upper hand. He brings his team down to the level of the other team.

Case in point: teams go small, he goes small. Instead of utilizing his bigs to win the advantage on the glass and in the paint he just puts his team on equal terms and has them firing from 3 ala Mike D'Antoni.

Our entire guard core needs a rebuild but with what I have now---JR Smith gives me the best chance to win over a Shumpert who the KNicks shouldve put in the D league to rehab. We cant score 100 points right now.

I would have rather seen Melo or Felton initiate the offense during the final minutes. I cant imagine what plays Woody drew up that froze out those 2 in the final minutes and JR with the balls in his hands on the wing and not on the top of the circle.

We got out coached in this one period, hopefully Woody learned from this so he can have a teaching moment for himself and Jr. The Heat Made some adjustments and of course took advantage of the mistakes and non calls in the game.

You know the Heat circled this game on their calendar, but they didn't play like it. The Knicks and the refs gave them this game its called the NBA, WHERE REFS GET PAID TO MAKE MOMENTUM CALLS OR NON CALLS THAT CAN TAKE PLAYERS OUT OF THEIR GAME.

Shump was fine and even when healthy was never much of an offensive threat. The guy that really needs to sit is Novak. Copeland should be taking his minutes now.

And Stat needs to be in during crunch time - Guy is shooting over 50% and forces wings like LeBron to stay home rather than cheating on lazy perimeter passes. Also would help Felton do whatever it is he is trying to do.

White wasn't the problem, the problem is Woodson choosing this game to give him valuable minutes ! Why not against the previous 4 teams for an adjustment period for him playing with the starters so he wouldn't get thrown into a game starting(with jitters) guarding the best player in the world. DUMB

We can't change the guard core now, what we can do is allow our pg to bring the ball up the court and leave our SG on the wing where he belongs. Shumpert defended well the entire game, he was necesarry for defensive purposes and Amare was needed offensively.
